LOL! yeah, lets meet up, how about you come over here, since your so close What do you have in your 91 hatch??? A B series I hope for your sake.

Oh and Melt, come on, give me a freakin break! Did I break your heart...like jackass said, it was made in the UK, not in Japan like the first Si...my roots Someone starts dissing my ride, they may as well get ready for me to do the same. We can do this shit all day. I don't care if someone doesn't like it, but to make comments like it's a piece of shit and the only thing I have going for it is my seats???...well, I hope you get the point now.

Oh and jackass, I know most likely, if you are a good driver, you would beat me at autocross....if I was stock. Which I am not. (Koni yellows, RSX sway, rear tie bar, rear upper strut bar, and skunk2 coilovers, etc).

Talking

I'm getting one...got a hook-up at a dealership...test drove it and I just got that feeling. Like when you know you belong in that car...I dunno if that makes sense. Aftermarket support for Honda is always huge, I don't see why it should be different with this K20 Si.

it's been going nuts this year, plenty of turbos to choose from now. Also, if your into all motor, you can hit 13's...yes, even in this heavy car of ours Check out this guy with a Type R motor hitting 13's in his EP:

I bet he'll get better times later on in the winter, he's in hot, humid as fuck New Orleans.

OKay, I am really tryin not to upset anyone, since this tread has a lot of that it seems. I think the shifter my look weird, but its comfortable. It only looks weird to me cuz its not the conventional place to put the shifter. Thats not bad though, innovation is how improvments are made. I wish it came with more grippy tires, maybe wheels a bit wider, but its a honda, and ppl usually put aftermarket wheels and tires on it, so again, that ones no biggie either. I guess my thing is I just dont care for the way the headlight looks on the front of the car. Too flat, tall, wide. I dunno how to explain it. But thats just my opinion on how the headlights look. That doesnt make it a bad car, its just not my first choice stock look wise. But I have seen some Phat ones, that Alpine "bionic" civic they made outta tthe new SI is paht, I mean, a center drive steering wheel? that was just dope. The blue car in the pics was cool too. Like I said, its just not my cup of tea stock. Then again, I'll admit I think it looks better than my car did stock. Once you start modifiying it though, it can look pretty decent. I'll always be partial to 5th gen hatches though, but hey, its a honda, so its not a bad car.

now that's constructive criticism I can take that kind...but that jackass, is just a jackass.

Hey jackass, no shit you can build 4 of your cars for about like 15,700 it's an old car, so it's obviously not going to be that much...good job there buddy!

About those wider tires with more grip. I went to a dealer the other day to test drive one and they had some in there that were on 17's and 18's, with Arospeed rims and aftermarket tires (not sure the brand). Also they came with a Honda Approved lowering kit...It was news to me! Another thing they had was Optional Equipment Altezzas (not that that is my thing, mind you) which was a big indicator that OEM want a piece of that aftermarket dollar. If it means better quality control for performance parts, I am all for it!

No kidding, I am sick of buyin clear corners for $20 that don't fit quite right. But I could still stand that, its the fact they leak like it's goin outta style. So, you have to seal em with silicon, especially here in rainy oregon. It's not hard, just a pain. Same goes for the tailights. You pay $150, and at least one of em always fogs up after rain or when you wash your car. Again, that trusty silicon, lol. But what do you expect I guess, the aftermarket companies are concerned with quntity for those, not quilty (for the most part, some manufacturs seem to care). I knew some dealer cars came with other rims, cuz changin rims and tires doesnt viod the warrenty, and I know the RSX had a "Honda approved" front lip, wing and stiffer and slightly lower springs. Didnt know the Civic did. Maybe sometime in the next decade they'll finally be gracous enough to give us that elusive type-r civic

Seriously, those mustang altezza's look bad, if you are talkin about the ones I've seen before. She didn't expect em to leak? Alomst all Altezza's and Clear corners leak, thats why they always tell you to "seal em with Silcon" before you put them on. Well, that and don't use the damn tailight gaskets they come with. I knew a person that junked there stock gaskets and used the ones that came with the Altezza's. Then his trunk was all leakin, and he had no clue why. Of course, he just bought new ones when he found out, but still. Those things leak, almost everyone knows it

Well, I will most likely not be joining the ranks of the '03 Si owner anymore...credit is a bitch! So is insurance...so until I find a cosigner, or raise up a hell of a down payment, I guess I will finally put that JDM B16 into my little hatchy. Still love both cars though, the new Si is a trip to drive.

This car is bad ass... such a shame it's a bit heavy and underpowered.

The new ctr is pretty quick with the beefed up 2.0 liter. Top speed is 146mph! I would let you all know my car's top speed but the engine is getting installed in one week.

p.s. can anybody see my sig or is it a red x?

I can see your sig, and yes the new si is kinda underpowered compared to what's out now, wrx, srt, etc. I'm trying to decide whether to go turbo, or go engine swap with some like the RSX-R (Intergra Type R as it's called in Japan) motor, or go crazy with the TSX motor (200hp and 160 tq NA )
