Re: Lancia Lc2 1985

Hi, Paolo
This is an absolutely stunning work!
I totally agree with Alvarol about the pictures.

meanwhile, you're giving some glimpse of that porsche gt1 evo 1998.
It seems like lexan slot body from Cursa models, right?
Can't wait to see that one too!

cheers,

Sang-Ki

Re: Lancia Lc2 1985

eheh, thank u Sang-Ki,
I am makin nearly all the expensive and too rare subjects done in the past by Modeller's (this lc2 evo, the gt1 98 and the dino 206 s ).
Alvaro is right about the pics, I am improving also theme and just have finished a cool photo corner to pic my models,in a true italian style :

thread of its costruction was here:
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...99#post6868899
and always thank u to Sebastian from Germany for giving me the idea

Yes,the gt1 98 is from Cursa slot.It really doesnt worth the 80 euros to buy it, cause it is just a body coming from a slot car and is really hard to keep it to a decent level for a static model, but I love the car (and many other too).

I am actually planning to build the Porsche 997 Gt3 R Hybrid from the last 24 hours of the Nurburgring. At least this car wasnt made by Modeller's

Re: Lancia Lc2 1985

very little update on my still unfinished lancia.
I miss the rear wing part, and works are going slowly for too many reason.

I fixed the main wing and side blades (rebuild in alu from a beer can).
Still have to build the 2 pylons arriving to the gearbox, but we are going on...

just I dont understand why, when I cut and sand this strange acethate trasparent plastic it smells a lot as piss...

Re: Lancia Lc2 1985

hi guys,
after a little pausa (mostly due cause sailing in mediterranean..) I've nearly finished my lancia.
The buidl up of rear wing mountings have been a real pain, but the final effect seems ok to me.
I add the PE wipers and fuel cap fillers. The mountings for rear wings are done in alu and the 2 cables are in steel.

Hope u like it

Iveco tail lights are build from clear resin

thanks for watching

Re: Lancia Lc2 1985

eh eh . I Love Greek sea, but I sail mostly small catamarans as Hobie cats and A-class and will be little hard for me cross Adriatic without capsizing and sank

I Really love too much this sport,I am planning also to make my own school here. Will be the great occasion to finally live in front of the sea forever.Who, as me and u, loves such, understand at once this sickness.
With my wife we live also in Marstrand (Swe),and who is from scandinavia knows what sort of paradise (mostly for sailors) is such place, even if water is a little bit colder than ours.

Few money now for a bigger toy.....
