I personally am in love with the CR-1 Victory hood. That thing has the sex appeal of Pamela Anderson, minus the hepatitis.

HAHAHAHAHA

I just woke up drunk, and that is the first thing I read. Needless to say, my day will be good.

Ralliart, really sorry to see that. That is just plain f-ed up to mess with a man's car like that. I personally would go cf hood (there are quite a few options on design) and stick with stock lighting. Just my .02

Thanks bro/Guys. I have decided to get a CF hood. Had a look at the CR1-Victory hood and I do agree that that thing is awsome but the CR2 look better..

Here is what I am looking to do:

where the hell can we get that 97 lip???? are there any other 97 lips that you know of????

Going to have this hood made Red.

So what do you think????

Bill took a Bozz Speed(?) bumper that was a POS and cut the lip that was on it off and had it molded in.

You can get a lip that looks a lot like that from 3SX that will end up looking something like this-

As for the hood, I think it's gonna look damn sexy. Good luck!

The 3sx lip only fits 99 bumpers. Bills lip looks 50 times better than the 3sx one too. The first one peice 99 lip was awesome though.

Re: 3000GT's very own Off-Topic Thread! Part DEUX

So today I figured out why switching insurance companies saved me $700.

Because my new one is composed of illiterate and incompetant people.

Error 1) they quote me for my 96 vr4, then I sign everything, and they send me a policy printout for a 95 vr4. I bring the problem to their attention, they in turn correct it, but try to charge me more by saying "It's not too bad sir, the difference is only $100 a year" The only thing was, I was already being charged for the 96, but the policy said 95, so they tried adding on $100 onto the already correct price for insuring a 96. My agent got that straightened out for me.

Error 2) I think all is good. Two weeks ago I get a phone call asking me personal info about my family. I'm hesitant, but once they prove they are my insurance company, I answer. They ask about people over the age of 18 in my household, and who else will be driving my car.
My brother is 21, and has no license, and is up at school
My mom, doesn't drive stick, is terrified of my car, and wouldn't be allowed to drive it even if she wasn't.
I tell them frequently that I'm the only one who pays for it, it's all in my name, and I'm the only one with keys. NOBODY else, not even mechanics are allowed behind the wheel. At this point, I figure they have gotten the point. Guess again.

Today I get a notice of policy change. They added my brother (no drivers license) and my mom (doesn't drive stick) to my policy, get this, "per my request". Needless to say, after 20 minutes on the phone with them today, I'm pretty sure I left 2 people crying, and they wont even be changing a single punctuation mark on my policy without calling me first.

I was just dumbfounded. I mean how do they add a driver to my policy who isn't even a freaking legal driver??

The stupidity of some people are unparallel...I love the part of "I'm pretty sure I left 2 people crying..." Good for you Vert!!!
