Yea I have never had any issues with mine coming loose. But I have had to beat mine on with a hammer so it would have probably been ok without a bolt

And she runs!

Bought a new UDP, which turns out to have failed. The power steering pulley on it was V shaped. Stupid. Not too happy so not going to get into detail about it. The one day process turned into 2 days.

Long story short, stock pulley is back on along with the stock pulleys. Regrounded the WBO2 to MegaSquirt, and getting much better reading from it. So now I have to retune the entire fuel map. But just came back from the bar and she's running good minus the super richness. Needs to go to the shop soon to have the suspension done. Making a lot of noise up there. I'm buzzing good right now, so I'll just post some pics.

The Talon does look straight up sexy chillin in the garage. Looks like a monster waiting to come out. Wish the rest of the body looked as good as the front. Everyone loves the black FMIC. Think that was a good choice.

Suspension was making a lot of noise last night coming home, so it won't be driven too much except for around the hood until I get the money to take to the shop. Will get the coilovers installed, new front hubs, couple of the boots are torn so I bet they replace the control arms, and anything else in the suspension that needs it. Then I'll drop the car probably about 1.25" in the front, probably 1.75" in the back Hoping to get it to the shop within 2 weeks.

Months ago. Like early last summer. Actually when I was installing the first turbo setup, I got it done and put it all back together at the same time. Been awhile dude.

GA been running for a while now too. Head was warped originally. Bought new one, installed, been good ever since kinda. The exhaust cam holder leaks oil (it didn't seal right or something when putting back together), so it's covered in copper gasket sealer and been holding great for a couple months now. And the block is still cracked so coolant gets pushed out. But I just check levels every other week, and it's fine. Just recharged the AC last night and its nice and cold now.

Still have 6 dash lights on that thing, and it needs to be taken in for suspension work. Making a weird grinding/moaning thing while turning left now. But I'll get the wheel hub replaced with the faulty ABS sensor and should ideally turn off 2 of those lights. MAP is casugin the CEL.

sounds like a mess. Cracked block...wow. but as long as it runs good who cares

Just a hairline fracture. Nothing major. But major enough to push coolant out overtime. Probably only fill it up once a month, not bad. Just check for that piece of mind.

That's cool she runs anyway! I'm thinkin of getting something like that where I can just use it as a dd. My explorer has 210k miles on it so I need to start thinking about its future.

Ya I wish it was a little more in better shape, but it gets the job done. I've put about 8k miles on it since I got it running, so it's doing well I guess for now.

Talon should be going back to the garage this weekend. Going to have one of my bigger buddies come over and try to get the suspension apart. I can't get any bolts to move, but hoping he can. Just want to save some money. Then I'll figure out what parts all need to get replaced and order those.
