(I agree. In the MAW story, the guy that wrote "Kookaburra" has been dead for more than 20 years. Give it a rest. And in the Beatles story, they used basically 3 notes? Come on.)

All musicians have influences. Often, they will proudly state their influences to anyone who will listen. Lots of early Beatles sounds like Buddy Holly, and they, especially Lennon ripped-off Bob Dylan repeatedly.
So, where does 'influence' stop and plagarism start? I think it is strictly financial. Quote:
