Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

I wanted to buy the polo McLaren 50 ; then it was discounted at 20£ and when I was on the McLaren shop, it was discontinued.

So, do you know where I can buy one with S size please ?

thanks
Phil

Good that you reminded, I totally forgot about McLaren 50 lineup.
I always wanted to have Ayrton Senna t shirt, or was that MP4-4 on it, but Ayrton Senna written somewhere, I forgot.

You are aiming for just one sweet spot in the corner. It's the point where centrifugal and cornering forces reach their equilibrium, where they are all at once replaced with acceleration. APEX - The invisible vertex of a corner, a place where the fastest lap times are recorded.

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

OK, so not only did I have a great time at the Festival of Speed, I also managed to squeeze in a little memorabilia buying there too. I've spoken to a couple of very knowledgeable chaps over the past few weeks, and to say their collections are impressive really is under-estimating them.

One guy reminded me of the AM Racing kit I had yet to lay my hands on, and spiked my interest in to looking for one again. Then, out of the blue, I made contact with a guy who was willing to part with some of his collection

First off is the AM Racing Press Pack that I have been after for a fair while, complete with one postcard signed by both Chris Goodwin and the fraudster James Munroe!

Next up is another Lapel pin, which I have been looking for over a long period of time just ike the AM Racing Press Pack above -

Next up are 2 Franck Muller Press Packs, of which I hadn't seen before -

and, to top off the recent spending spree, I bought these too . They are stickers that were given to the winning teams at the race following the one they had won, as well as a guest pass and 4 carbon blanks with stickers on

I see the flaw in your plan Greg, even if all your collection makes massive leaps in value you still won't raise enough to buy an F1, good try though.
Only kidding its a very impressive collection and one to be rightly envious of, you must have some fantastic contacts.

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

Thanks Geoff - There are people with a more vast collection than I, with items you would not believe were obtainable, but I do the best with the means available

Like these that turned up today out of the blue from a kind hearted soul who never told me they were on their way . They are postcards of when XP5 was on a Tour in Australia / Asia, and wore the Shell decals

I think I only have a couple of other pics of it on this Tour
