JSCIARRI84, if your remote is the factory GM type and not aftermarket, these instructions will program your remote:

Leave key off
Jumper pin A to pin G with a fused jumper (3A)
Doors will lock and unlock
Pres the UNLOCK button on the remote
Doors should lock and unlock again
if you have more remotes press their unlock button (up to 4)
remove jumper wire

I'm assuming the previous owner had it disabled by means of removing some wire or following some procedure listed here. Can somebody help me re-enable my horn/light lock confirmation?

Thanks for your support.
Bump....Any help, please?

The 2002 Saturn SC remotes require a scantool for programming (same as the Cavalier)

95 Regal:

In the passenger side of the trunk, there is a wire, near the antenna.

Ground this wire, wait for the locks to cycle, then push any button on the remote and hold until the locks cycle again, and you should be in business.

You may have to reprogram your existing remote as well, as some cars erase all old codes when adding a remote.

You can do all at the same time, when done, unhook your ground wire and your finished.

Re: Keyless Entry Info...Search here first before posting about keyless entry problems.

Just bought a 97 Burb LT (to replace my old 97 Police Special :-) the wireless remote, both front door push buttons, and the rear side button open and close the drivers door only, the 3 passenger doors would not power open or close, not even click, but they can be opened and locked manually. Rear hatch/latch (glass flip up liftgate hatch) opens with push button on dash but not on the remote (remote is aftermarket Audiovox Premier alarm with single button to open and lock and second button to release "trunk" When I push any of the activators to close, I hear 2 consecutive relay clicks, but the doors, with the exception of the drivers doo will not open, or lock when I push lock.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Keyless Entry Info...Search here first before posting about keyless entry problems.

Can someone please tell me how to program a remote for a Chevy 2002 Trailblazer.

I tried the procedure that has you turn the key on-off-on-off while holding down the door unlock button on the door panel. Then holding down the lock and unlock buttons on the remote for 15 seconds.

It did not work. However the door locks did loc and unlock after doing the on-off-on-off procedures. The remotes did not cause the door locks to respond.

I suspect that there is more to the procedure for a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer. thanks in advance.
