The ad that ArtSports had for the car definitely said that when it was translated from Japanese to English. That also jives with the chassis history poster included with "Driving Ambition".

Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet

We know already that it's there, at Bingo Sports, for the last 6 months or so. I did not see too many pics of it in this thread, so thought I'd share. Not the most exciting series, but at least taken inside

And some nice work of a model maker: http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/scollection00/15949346.html

Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet

Well, it came today. It's not just about #28R but also #013 too as well as having some great pics of GTR's racing, including the 2 LARK short-tails. I can't read Japanese, but the pics are good enough.

Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet

There are a few more, but they are across a double page spread, and my scanner can only do a4. I may try to do 2 together and try to marry them up......

Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet

Bingo sports said that they will only sell the #13 to people living in Japan apparently. I read it somewhere before. They dont want the car to leave Japan.

Re: Recap of Japanese F1 fleet

Perhaps they mean nowadays, as it was certainly out of Japan for a while
