Re: Modifications list

Holy shit 70lbs! My whole exhaust doesnt even weight that, but then again i only single exhaust and no Y in the downpipe. I maybe shaved 20-25lbs with my whole exhaust. And 3 cats = damn!

Re: Modifications list

Yup, very easy to shead ~200lbs on a VR-4 as they are fatasses from the factory. Do away with the spare and jack along with some lexan and fiber glass body parts and she slims down quickly along with some power gains. You dig? (pun intended )

EDIT: BTW, nobody has noticed the change in my name.

Whatever, you guys are losers anyway.

Re: Modifications list

How is the Exhaust set up on the VR4? One piece or flanged? On BMWs loosing the stocker exhaust is the same, its about a 40-50 pound weight drop with most of the aftermarket ones installed, because the entire exhaust on a BMW is one piece from the headers to the tips.

The two exhaust manifolds run into a single downpipe which then splits into a "y" so it comes out as dual. With this new setup I'll have it running into a much much lighter downpipe (as it doesn't have any of the three heavy, and very restrictive cats) and then continue to run into a single the whole way through and will go out at the back left side. With the downpipe and new exhaust it should be cutting ~90-100lbs off of stock weight. Will look identical to this:

That would have the reverse effect with the Fibbies...

Looks good, I like that set up. I've always liked single side set ups better.

Where the hell was that BP? Everyone kept saying "go to the BP go to the BP". I could never find it.

There are three. I70 exits on the north side of the highway and to the right on everyone. At the providence exit, 63 interchange near BK and lake of the woods exit.

I get better gas mileage with 93 and I don't get knock in the galant with 94.

Re: Modifications list

Shit I got spare axles son! The tech r's hooked decent and i drove a lot on the street with them just in case someone wanted to do a dig lol, but they were too small to launch hard. These one will launch like crazy but ill sacrifice a MPH or 2 trap speed due to how big they are

Traction > trap speed. You gain more for the amount of time u save on your 60 ft

Re: Modifications list

I agree. I should still be able to trap 109-110 though
