:hehehe: pity my Valiant don't have those! But I doubt I'll get a dent in it if a crash into a "wooden bin"

The first that was "mine" was the '89 Tempo. The first I paid money for was my ZX2, which I am currently driving. I love that car!

I had a 1972 Holden Torana S. It had the little Holden Red Six Cylinder engine with 2250cc or 138 cubic inches of capacity, ran a three speed manual column change, bias belted tyres (yep that's what was around BEFORE cross-plied tires) and had four wheel non-power assisted drum brakes.

I learnt a lot about driving in that car - it had more power than grip, more go than stop and you could hold a power slide at 15 mph on wet tarmac... you could have the car in a complete drift on metal ie unsealed roads and adjust under/oversteer with a curl of your toes.

Eventually, I sold 'The Beast' as my friends had dubbed her at the end of University to someone who repainted her, repowered her and made her his own...

1991 Nissan Sentra SE (Nissan Sunny to anyone not in North America). Bought it with 162,200 miles, totaled it with 186,000 a year and 4 months later. Sold it to friends who fixed it up, it's still running. Damn good car, wouldn't min d having another.
