I actually never understood this one: why not, after shooting someone, change the "fingerprint" that the gun leaves. Like using a file or sendpaper to alter, somewhat significantltly the hammer (like, for example, grinding the side so that it's less round, or more/less pointy - you get the picture), as well as the barrel... Make sure that it leaves a totally different mark, then go shoot a couple of boxes of ammunition somewhere so the alterations don't look too suspicious...

I'm sure it's possible and done before (I know I'm smart, but not the smartest who ever lived, although probably the smartest living now :bandit: )

Poison!! Food, drink, or even their favorite candy. Make sure it's effects are delayed so to give you time to escape and such.

ales and jay added good advice on this.

In addition, the gun must be new and bought from somewhere that can't trace it back to you.
You must also remember trajectory. Don't shoot from your window, they'll soon know where the bullet came from.

ales mentioned changing the fingerprint. Its probably impractical but you could rebore the gun for a larger round. That would fool the cops.

You should deffinately dispose of the gun, though.

yeah you can if you're over a certain age, it's just tough... all the gun laws in canada are gay
you have to go on like a 6 month or more waiting list, you need to update your registration every year, etc.
might aswell go out and get an illegal one

Is this really such a bad thing? You don't hear about anywhere near as many shootings in Canada than in the US

More unique? How many old guys do you have down there that walk into the mall with a touque on in the middle of summer, plaid jacket, jogging pants, big huge beard, and a smoke hanging out of there mouth and ask the guy at Roots if "they sell beaver pelt pants, eh?"

I see them all the time...that's what makes Canada more unique
