Welcome to AF there FreeDivr2. I've talked to and I you before, and you're cool. But some others on that OTHER site are pricks, and we're not so welcoming to them. Hear that DogsPaws?

Hey Bronsonator........

Get tired of TS? Good ol Lon never did email me back after he shut down the thread and poll about "should TS be for free?". Members made some great points about why it should be, and all the moderators had to say was that everybody was whining about the 12 bucks. What a bunch of horses$$$. It's sad that Lon turned out to be a jerk . I'll keep going back to that site for the benefit of Tundra owners only. And maybe we can get some heads turned this way (this seems like it could be a good site if only some of the punk looky loos would find another place to play).

And what's up with you being down on Dogpaws? He's pretty cool as far as I know....here's a chance for you to kiss and make up!

Anyway, I sure hope we can help make this forum grow. I'll do my part by passing along lessons learned and stuff. TS is a good site but Lon really, really sucks. I think he's part (or most) commie.

Welcome aboard. Couldn't agree more about TS. Don't know why some folks can't listen to reason but that's not my problem. Don't know what Bronson's problem is but apparently some of the folks at TS dislike me for my suggestions. I thought I made fair arguments. I certainly never stooped to name-calling. Either way, I'm sure people will come around after a while. I've noticed Tacoma Territory has folks leaving their site and coming to the Tacoma section of AF. Guess time will tell.

CHECK THE DOOR TAG...you'll see that your Tundra was built in Princeton, Indiana. The last time I looked at a map, Indiana was still in the U.S.A.

Yep, but that's changing

Toyota Motors is planning on building their engine plant in Huntsville Alabama next year. I don't know if that's just engine assembly or if the parts will also be made here.

I think they've found that it's a whole bunch cheaper to export parts over here than to pay the export fees for completed cars.

Anyway, that's my 3 cents.

Very funny

HAHA, JBL.

I've seen your same handle at the TS site, right? I've been coming over here because of the way they've been running that website lately and because they've locked up information given freely by members as a pay only view. To me, that's immoral. If they had paid for that information, that's one thing.

What I and some other members want to do is to start building up this website with information and hopefully others will chime in and do the same. The idea here is to share information for each others benefit, NOT to turn it into a profit monster and hide information unless you pay for it.

If you agree, then please help out by adding helpful information in new threads. I kicked it off the other day with a thread called "Handy Hint 1.0; Oil changes".

Hope that was worth the other cent......

Nope

No, I meant adding new threads to THIS website, not to TS. And I'm sorry, but I could've swore I saw your handle on TS. Anyway, do whatever you can to help add good info that you've learned about your Tundra to THIS website if you would. Nice trucks, eh? The only disappointment I have is that you have to feather the gas pedal to get decent mileage. I was spoiled by my 1991 Toytoa 4x4 4 bangers mileage. Gonna take a while to get over that......
