I had an entire ZC motor shiped to me from hong kong with 28000 miles on it for $750... So no I dont think $1000 is a good price... Maybe if it had cams, intake and a header.

Well, is it used, from someone you know locally? You can get a motor/trans package from nippon motors for $600+ shipping. So thats say $800, then a new header, another $200. So that comes to about $1000. But, then you also get the warranty, possibly a non beat up motor, etc.

this comes with teg axles, wire harness, intake manifold, header, everything to do the swap. and it is coming out of a 90 civic hatchback, so all the modification that needs to be done has already been done.

let me know an accurate price.

Oh.. So you weren't speaking from personal experience.. I see.

I'm gonna say that there is no way your buddy has a 230whp all motor ZC.. Why? He'd be famous. Somebody would be talking about him if he made over 100+ hp off NA mods on a motor that VERY few aftermarket parts are available for.

Got pictures? Got specs on the mods? EVEN BETTER - GOT DYNOS? If you know that its a 230whp ZC he's obviously dynoed it.. So scan it, and lets see. What kind of mods does he have? I really don't understand what on earth he could do to make over 100whp with NA mods on a ZC. Please, if you're going to tell me its stroked to a 1.8 or whatever (wich is real quality internet-motor-dreamer talk) please provide info on where and what kind of parts are used.

For starters he had the head modified to accept a B16 valve train... All of the parts in the head are aftermarket. I can send you dyno's (he has them) as soon as I talk to him. Im realy fucking tired right now cause I spent all day at sugar bowl rippin it up on my snow board... Ill get you a list of mods later. Also its a rather riceboy comment to make assuming because someones ZC makes 200+ WHP they would be famous, he drives this car on the street and dosent want everyone knowing what he's got goin on under the hood there. Shit I bet there are thousands of cars that are worthy to be famous that arent because the owners realy dont give a shit about fame... I can think of quite a few in my town, non pop to mind in yours?

I agree with u! Even the b-series motor have a hard time doin those kind of powers to the wheels. They even have more potential than the zc. I mean hey zc's are kool and i do respect your opinion but i do hope to see them dyno sheets soon without excuse. PEACE!

Whatever dude.. Get me the dynos and I'll e-mail you the dynos of my 110hp barstool. It has a B20 block and a D15A head with two cams stuffed in it..

Did you bonk your head perhaps when you were snowboarding? Does his ZC make 200hp or 230? Do you even know, or are are you just typing whatever comes to your head on the internet?! Trust me, if any shop knew how to extract 230whp from a ZC NA then they would be all over the internet being talked about.. 230hp for a B16A that is NA is a crazy high number, let alone an engine with no aftermarket support in North America.
So his ZC has VTEC now? How'd he wire up the VTEC silenoid and all that crap? Man, I thought you'd say it was stroked to a 2.0 or something (I've heard that one from guys like you many times), but to say he had a custom VTEC valvetrain put in to a ZC is just retarded.. You think we're gonna buy this shit? Man, you must take us all for a bunch of dummys.

Call me a "ricer" or whatever you want.. You tell fairy tails.

Oh okay, so you think to yourself, this is a custom job, and very high dollar, right? That's the only way that would be possible. Nope, this guy has it all figured out.

Custom everything aftermarket VTEC ZC!! For only $3000? Damn why didn't I think of that!!

I could have been a local street hero for figuring out how to mate parts from completely different motors that no car tuner in the country has even considered as worthwhile because it would require a huge time and equipment investment and the bottom end would explode at very low power ratings, and probably would be completely impossible unless you were...hmm..HONDA? But nonetheless, I could have done it in my garage at home for 3000 bucks!

Man, your buddy is a true genius! I think he should write a letter to Honda and tell them how retarded they are for designing a whole new motor for VTEC (B16) and tell them they could have just modified a ZC for $3000 and it would have been better than a Type R! Stupid Honda, what a bunch of idiots!

Thank you,
Ryan
