Well everyone, it didnt' get finished! I can't believe it I have over 40 hours into this model in less than 2 weeks. I started rushing at the end which I needed to, but I know I really shouldn't have! Even without that I can't get the body to sit right and the dash comes up so that the windshield can't fit! Ughh the wheels/shocks just won't stay on either

Well I hope your not going to just forget it and throw it out, build it. Who cares if you were meant to give it to your friend today, they can wait a bit longer, just take your time.

Yeah I know, I just can't believe over 40 hours and I still didn't finish it. It wouldn't even come out how I wanted if I had finished it tomorrow the way it was . It was supposed to be a xmas present, but I guess it will have to wait a little longer! I just want to get it done before I go back to college since I don't want anything to happen to it! I'll post up some pics!

Hono- Did you have any fit issues?

It is coming along alright, just keep at it, it should come up alright.

(You could of fixed teh scratch in the window by sanding with very fine sandpaper, then polishing it....)

I had but I put too much pressure on the windshield and created these small diamond like cracks.

*UPDATE*
Since it wasn't ready on time I bought my friend something else for xmas and will be giving it to them at a later day once I feel it is "finished" I will be repainting it, redoing the suspension, and trying to figure out a way so that the dash doesn't keep on blocking the windshield from not fitting . I would post up pics but I don't have my ftp on this computer and I don't wanto to already start clogging up AF's new servers lol. I'll post them tonight or tomorrow.

Atleast I know that problem is common.... now I have to figure a way to fix it. I know Hono fixed it, hopefully she can tell us how she did.

I was testing out my macro function! Kit is almost done! I can't wait!!

To be finished:
Put in Windshields
Put in Headlights
Glue on front wheels
Rear brake bar
Repaint and Polish

Coming out real nice, I think I had the same fitment problem, well and others, The chassis dosesn't fit all the way into the body, like the chassis sits to foward(which make it harded to put larger rims) and dosen't go up all the way like it should! I had this problem with the older model of the Mustang made by Revell, since they use the same chassis and some interior parts.
