Re: 935 turbo Martini (hundreds of machined parts)

Thanks guys, I hope that all this can be of inspiration for your projects.
The pieces for the new starter compared with te one offered in the kit, the small bended rod is a 2 mm TIG welding rod filed and adjusted at hand.

And this is the result after the parts are glued together.

This is a very special wip. I love the idea that you made the shocks adjustable. The last pic of the starter with the wires is amazing, very realistic.

Re: 935 turbo Martini (hundreds of machined parts)

Wow, those fittings (from the hex bar) look great. I have to say that I've been trying to make something like that on my own lathe (from small hex bar), and am really struggling. The thin/small brass just isn't strong enough to handle the machining (at least the way I'm doing it....). I have it really close in to the chuck, but still struggle.

Is there any chance you might do a mini-how-to on machining those? Tools/bits you use, pics of your setup, etc, etc? How big is the hex bar across the flats?

Very nice work. Thanks for the pics and updated. Checking in everyday hoping for more updates!!!

I'm just speechless. Amazing how much fine and great detail you're putting in this build. Keep it comin'. I'm a devoted follower of this thread.

Hallo the exagonal brass bar is 2 mm for the fittings and 1,5 mm for the stud bolts/nuts but other size are available in Italy at this page:http://http://www.utensilirevelli.co...-c-98_109.html
Murray I have sent you an e mail regarding your needs.
Thank's to everyone for the comments.

Another kind of fitting (3 pieces) and one of the pulleys for the injection pump.

Re: 935 turbo Martini (hundreds of machined parts)

I'm back... with a handful of new pieces to detail the injection pump.

Someone can help me with the passages of the pipes in the engine area?
