Blink, you made it! but i moved to New Orleans a month ago . oh well, you'll have to come down for Mardi Gras in Jan/Feb. but you'll definitely have to hook up with the San Antonio (there are only a few) and Austin (there are many) 3S crew. if you ever need any work done on your car that you're not comfortable doing, let me know and i'll get you in touch with some Austin or San Antonio people who know everything about these cars. check out the chapter section of 3Si (DFW3S-NT3S-H3S Dallas/Ft.Worth 3S - North Texas 3S - Houston 3S). also we post in the South West regional section, too.

so i'm sitting here thinking. well i like my 320hp but i wonder what lets say 350 or for a 10 to 1 is like 375hp feels like.

i know in faq it stats best upgrades. but i was wondering whats the easiest way to get the 350hp. since most of the tt engine can only take 14.5psi i figure i'd try 14psi around what 340hp...so i'd still need to get 10ish more.
wats the best way to get that extra 10hp?

i run 11psi right now(with free boost mod, is that correct?) so i have 320hp. its great, but i want more...well dont most people after a lil while with a 3s

I don't understand? Try the basic bpu's the faq mentions. And if I recall right you can boost 14 psi safely on the stock the turbos. As for the motor it can handle far more than 340hp and 14 psi lol.

i member reading something somewhere that 14.5 is like some limit for the 3s before lowering compression or something...eh watever.

i was thinking 350hp at the flywheel...but just out of curiosity wat would 350 to the ground need to b at the flywheel?

i just want a lil more power...not a drag strip queen. if i can just boost pressure and get a good amount power than i'll get a elec boost controller and build up the pressure over a few wk period...granted i have to do that damn tune up...it was due 2,500miles ago..!!!! yikes!!!! the 62,500mile tune up i'll call it.

The stock motor can take a whole lot more. Most people actually up the compression to 8.5 or 9:1. Going lower than 8:1 is going to kill teh cars power band.

What youve heard is a stock TT can only handle ~14.5 psi. Thats because the turbos are maxed and the fuel is maxed. Upgrade fuel and throw 13gs on and you'll easily be closer to 400 hp

wassup guys, just wanted to stop by Chapter 3 as well. Lotsa stuff going on, life is a crazy as ever, and of course not only did I get the click click start problem, but 2 weeks later my alternator is on its way out, so I can't count the # of times i've been stranded in the last month. Push starting this thing is getting my calves bigger than my workouts at the gym...and I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. HOpe all is well, and Slade I really would post that thread on 3si really soon...and make the wording very clear that you are fed up...don't use any soft language...

Life could not be better bro. My wife is doing great and her job just gave her a raise. My baby boy is 3 months old now and healthy as heck. My GTO is fully repaired and back on the road at 100%.
I couldnt ask for more man!
