When you guys say "american beer", I really hope you are just refferring to the mass-market swill that most people drink down here (budweiser, miller, coors, etc.). There's alot of great microbreweries down here that make some great beer.

Yes, that's what I was referring to, sorry for the unclarity I'm sure there are some really good beers in the US that copied Canadian beer
