Are u kidding me? Lets take my car for example. Picked up a 94tt for 18k. Single turbo kit= 4k, torque converter w/ 3600 stall= $800, aem ecu = 1k, FMIC=1k , fuel systyem =3k some drag radials $500. =$10,300. Misc stuff i could of forgot can pick up the extra $1,700. For a grand total of 30k. Do you doubt those things up top can get me into the 10's? IF you like i could show you some time slips of various cars that probably have even less than that into the 10's.

Yea i will admit supras need race gas to go to their full potential, but if you have a 100k Lambo with your big bad 6.0 vs our 3.0 why would you want to race a supra that wasnt on race gas? At least give us that to make up for extra thousands of dollars that were spent in designing your engine.

All in all this thread is pretty damn pointless. I love Lambos and Supras. You cant compare a car that costs 250k brand new to a car that cost 50k when it was new. I just dont like to see some rich pricks bashing on my beloved car. For what it cost me It packs a punch under the hood that can compare to the horsepower rating of a 250k car. Nuff said.

Arguing about the Diablo Vs. The Supra, is kinda like arguing over Maccas and the best burgers in the world, they just don't compare.

This is somewhat misleading.I had a 700rwhp Single Turbo Supra and it cost a lot more than you state.A typical Single kit with Turbo(T61,T66,etc) will run 6500.An AEM ecu runs 1500,fuel system is correct at 3k,torque converter is correct at 800,but the intercooler kit runs around 1600 for a Greddy 3 row,and the exhaust itself is around 1500 with downpipe.Dont forget that any Stock auto tranny will only make one pass under high boost before it goes too.You can try to defend the car all you want as it is a truly fast car with work but its no Diablo.Being petty and talking about how fast a car is for the money is pointless as one could argue that you could get a new GSXR1000 for under 10 grand and go alot faster than both cars.1500 is all it takes to have a stock Diablo 6.0 in the 10's.Nothing else,period.

You cannot compare cars equally no matter what regards as they are completely 2 different cars. One is designed to be exotic and street legal with good overall power and handling which very few cars on the planet will ever be remembered as. Now you guys are talking about driving a non street legal car vs a street legal car, I like knowing I don't have to get pulled over and collect hefty fines or get my car towed away and it's becoming more prominent lately with cars ending up in tow yards only to end up getting stripped or something else bad. Now to me what's more impressive is the E55 Benz that does 12.4 stock in 1/4 mile and even better will be the CL55 all heavy with leather and ac running with all the luxury you can imagine and still outrun most sports cars and even exotics weighing in at less. Picture the guy next to you get blown away quietly with your ac on driving one handed, that's impressive, and you can drive the car everyday comfortably. Of course not everyone likes the luxury experience but hey that's me. The lambo for the money in my opinion is the most exotic for the money, I can't think of any car most stunning to think of.

Thanks.I had every panel molded on that car.No bolt on kits for me.It is nice,however,to know I finally graduated out of that stage to a Diablo.(Thanks to you of course for talking me into it)
Like Ive said,as nice as those cars were they are no Diablo.So to see a Diablo lose to some modded to hell Supra doesnt bother me one bit as you can modify any car to beat a Diablo.Run Alan or I heads up,from a dig,stock for stock though and you wont see many takers.
