For JDM reference, both OPTION and OPTION2 are very good, despite it's price.
Although the text is written in Japanese, and it's really a pain for those who customize 1/1 car, but for the modelers, I think good pictures matter most.
In that respect, I think OPT and OPT2 provides lots of good color pictures, including the ads.
And detail conscious style of the Japanese magazines is all in there.

Both are from OPTION Nov. 2002.

There are a few places online that sell issues of Option. Pacific Rim is one, www.iloveracing.com and then go to the books and magazines section. there are some other places too, but as of now i can't remember them. the issues are a little pricey, but they're huge and are full of pictures. even most of the ads are good. i have an "in" so to speak. my uncle lives in Tokyo, so whenever i want a new issue of Option, i just e-mail him and ask him to send me one and tell him he can count it as my birthday present! lol

PS: damn FOTW, i didn't know Warren had that nice a body...

well, i'll look for some places on the web, but after you get it, if you want to subscribe go here: http://www.sun-a.com/option/optweb_inENGLISH.htm

if you want to click on random links and hope to see some pics, you could check out Options site: http://www.sun-a.com/option/

i'll find some other things and post it up here.

I checked out Racific rim and went to order all of the Option mags they had - then the shipping price came up, steep? It was F'ing vertical!!!

I also sent an email from the Option site about subscriptions but it got returned!

So if u can find the other places that sell these i'll try my luck there.
