My Golf’s a ’98 mk3. Im not against diesels in any way, if my employers offered me a company car it would undoubtedly be a 330cd, especially as the new one has a power hike (184 to 204) to accompany the mountains of torque. If it was my own money I would get a 330ci (sport) cos im a petrolhead at heart, and whilst torque is undoubtedly good, id ache for the power and top-end fury

I think hydrogen cell cars and hybrid dual fuel engines are the way foward for the near future, but if you visit the above link you will see an article stating that diesel can be man made.
