Okie Dokie,
Last night on my way home from Taco Bell I was waiting to turn left(forever) and then a white integra passed me and revved. I decided to go hunting instead of taking the left turn I was originally gonna make. I followed him to a road that I knew well and we lined up. Rolling at about 20mph the ominous three honks emerged from his car, I knew what to do. We both nailed it and we both went back and forth, back and forth holding the lead. now, this guy had a passenger but he also had work as I found out, but I ended up taking the win in my BONE STOCK (minus air silencer) Spec-V. I waived him over to find out what he had done. He informed me that he had an intake and a muffler, and oh yea, it was a de-badged Type-R. I dont know if I have a freak Spec but wasn't I supposed to lose?? I only beat him by about a couple of feet(almost a front quarter panel) but he had some mods. Anyone else have experience with these cars?:flash: |

That passenger must have made a little difference because two of my friends have typeR's. The one I wouldn't even bother to mess with because he has Spoon and Toda mods in it. The other I can kind of hang with, he only has intake and exhaust. So I would say that you did right by that. Are you sure it was a TypeR?

Im positive. I waived the guy over and took a look at his car for a sec. I have a friend that has one that im setting something up with to see if this was a fluke. We'll see.

Murco: Yeah my tires are pretty bad right now, but the clutch is not too too bad. I can only drop it at 1500 rpm, or I'll just hop all over the place. I'm just working on a ghetto mod for the egine mounts, and hopefully that'll help.
hybridsol: what's up man, I want to have a run with you too. The problem is that I would probably never be arround the PA area in my car mainly because I live in Canada hey liquidsilver, I think the Gti that my friend's friend has is a brand new one, and he claimed it has 180hp stock, still not race with him yet.

also, that sounds like a nice setup you got, have you taken it to the track yet to see what it'll run?

I beat another Type R. My friend has a yellow 02 with DC intake, some Venom computer thing, and timing gears. My car is wierd quick and I dont know why. Any possible explainations or similar experiences would be apreciated. The only modification to my Spec is the removal of the intake silencer box, nothing else. I want to have it dyno'd but dont have the cash right now. I'll let you know when I do though.
