Okie Dokie,

Last night on my way home from Taco Bell I was waiting to turn left(forever) and then a white integra passed me and revved. I decided to go hunting instead of taking the left turn I was originally gonna make. I followed him to a road that I knew well and we lined up. Rolling at about 20mph the ominous three honks emerged from his car, I knew what to do. We both nailed it and we both went back and forth, back and forth holding the lead. now, this guy had a passenger but he also had work as I found out, but I ended up taking the win in my BONE STOCK (minus air silencer) Spec-V. I waived him over to find out what he had done. He informed me that he had an intake and a muffler, and oh yea, it was a de-badged Type-R. I dont know if I have a freak Spec but wasn't I supposed to lose?? I only beat him by about a couple of feet(almost a front quarter panel) but he had some mods. Anyone else have experience with these cars?:flash:

That passenger must have made a little difference because two of my friends have typeR's. The one I wouldn't even bother to mess with because he has Spoon and Toda mods in it. The other I can kind of hang with, he only has intake and exhaust. So I would say that you did right by that. Are you sure it was a TypeR?

Murco: Yeah my tires are pretty bad right now, but the clutch is not too too bad. I can only drop it at 1500 rpm, or I'll just hop all over the place. I'm just working on a ghetto mod for the egine mounts, and hopefully that'll help.

hybridsol: what's up man, I want to have a run with you too. The problem is that I would probably never be arround the PA area in my car mainly because I live in Canada

hey liquidsilver, I think the Gti that my friend's friend has is a brand new one, and he claimed it has 180hp stock, still not race with him yet.

hey my friend has an early 90's crx and is desperate for some mods (he's real slow, its sad), you got any suggestions? All he has is intake and exhaust, so a header would be a nice addition, but I don't know what else on top of that since I'm not much of a honda person. Maybe cams, pulleys, etc.

also, that sounds like a nice setup you got, have you taken it to the track yet to see what it'll run?

Well first off thanks, and no I haven't been to the track yet. Um what motor does yoru buddy have in his CRX, is the first thing, if it is a stock motor I'd tell him to save his money for a swap. After that all motor is more respectable but if he wants super fast build it turbo. Tell him not to go cheap though no matter what he does, if hes gonna build it build it right..GOOD LUCK!:frog:

I beat another Type R. My friend has a yellow 02 with DC intake, some Venom computer thing, and timing gears. My car is wierd quick and I dont know why. Any possible explainations or similar experiences would be apreciated. The only modification to my Spec is the removal of the intake silencer box, nothing else. I want to have it dyno'd but dont have the cash right now. I'll let you know when I do though.

the bullshit just got too deep to walk in........... first you beat rsx's (bullshit) then two type r's (bullshit) but you lost to another nissan a 240 sx with considerable less hp than the car you yourself have (Man the life boats!) (wow man you keep beating cars that have much more hp than you do! type R US stock 195 Jap 197- stock your car 175 and its heavier, what gives???? RSX type S 220hp, what gives? It figures you lose to a nissan with less hp than you. Somebody is a little biased. (raise the flag)
its piling on!
