I've now installed the interior, but with a twist. Namely, I decided to remove all the attachemnt points on the interior tub and the chassis and then glue the interior to the body rather than the floorpan. This enabled me to make sure I don't run into fitment problems (you can see that I also had to remove some plastic from the underside of the rear shelf) and align the third brake light and the window properly. Glue is settled, everything seems to be working. Or almost everything. Can you see anything wrong with the picture below, something that would explain these smileys ?



And might as well post a picture of the mesh behind the rear bumper. It's not too accurate, but it's much finer than it seems from the picture and I love it, even if I say so myself.

I was so mad at myself yesterday because of that mirror. I was actually looking forward to installing it, but then I got overexcited and installed the interior too early.

Anyway, I just realised I hven't posted any pictures of the underside. Nothing much, just Humbrol SGB and MM aluminium.
