As usual after a weekend, there are the new pics.
I added some parts only the doorpanels have to be placed and then I need some ts50 to spray the cover it does not look so attractive with that ugly primer ;-)))
Hopefully I will get some this weekend.
As usual all coments are welcome.

So folks this was it for the moment after adding the doorpanels I will post some new pics.
In the mean time I primered the parts of my next model so I can do that one too as I am waiting for my ts50.

Hi there Adidas150,

Great job so far!
We all get set-backs every now and then, the thing with the paint spilled over you clothing, I know what you're talking about, these things mostly happen when you rush things! Modeling is by definition, taking it easy!!

For the TS-50, you can try MG Modelisme in Huy. They're a CAR modeling shop, they do only cars - mostly rally - but also racing and road cars. They should be listed in the yellow pages, if not I can send they're contact info to you via PM. Have you tried Broux in Hasselt as well?

Cheers

Thx for the advice I will try to get some in Hasselt this weekend and if I can not find some there i will try in Huy.
I did not know the shop in Huy but I will certainly go over there to have a look at the store.
Believe me I will not get in a hurry anymore, as I say we all learn from our mistakes ;-)))

I added my doorpanels this morning so be prepared to see the new pics.

I need some tips as I do not want to mess up the body.
The body is primed sanded and ready to spray but I still have some questions.
After I sprayed the body do I have to place decals or do I have to put some clear coat TS13 on it and the decals afterwards.
How can I finish the body withe clear or wax or something else?
Please tell me.

It's always good to put light clear coat over color before you put decals.
Speacialy if color isn't glossy. Than you can put decals and cover it with clear coat.
But be careful with TS-13 over decals. I heard that sometimes is too strong for decals.

I'm using automotive colors and clear coats but I will not recomed it to any begginer.
Maybe you can try with Tamiya's clear coats from bottles.

I was about to say: That's a plastic car. Only BEFORE I realized thats what it was.

Looking nice! I don't think I could do even half that. Ugh, I need sleep.

If you cant find the paint, you might be able to buy some actual Subaru Mica Blue, or get it mixed. You will need to make some changes to the body though (I think)

I also bought some compound and modelling wax.
so stay tuned for the pix of the painted body.
