In regards to the MR2, from people who've tuned them: Go turbo or don't go at all. The difference between NA and turbo is incredible. I'd go Silvia personally. S13, S14, S15, they all good.

Well, he's talking about a daily driver until he's 21, and can insure something with a turbo.

The NA MR2s are slow, yes, but they do handle well, and engine swaps are always possible. The original MR2s are featherweights, and I don't think it's much of a chore to fit a 3S-GTE in, and then you'd have 200 hp, BEFORE tuning. This is the same engine that powered the Pikes peak tacoma, and the LeMans supra!

The only thing you could really complain about(aside from them being small 2 seaters), is the styling... it's kinda 80s angular style.

A few tasteless body kits

Think of it as a mid engined 86... another interesting note, it's not hard to swap in 20V motors into these either...

i've been referred to Porsche 944, from 80s if u want cheap. it is NA & has perfect 50/50 weight balance, motor in front & tranny in rear at differential.

weren't you in Dallas or sumtin?

GO FOR THE CIVIC!
sorry just a Honda fan.
or maybe buy yourself the 200SX.
The R32 looks good.
I'd rather buy a cheaper car and add mods on it rather than buy a expensive car and keep it stock.
I dunno that's just me.
But I'd buy the 200SX and Civic mostly just because out of price. All the cars in those pics look like they're in good condition.

944s are great, but maintainance is a killer... Get a 924! Cheap, great handling, cheap to run, the only complaint, total lack of power

Hell, get a 931, that's what I'm buying!

man ur even lucky to be able to see a skyline , im prob never gonna even come near a GTR living in new york ... SIGH...
but anyways here are my suggestions ... GET THAT R32, but if it is too much money , may i suggest a MR2 G-limited?
non turbo so insurance wont make u bend over and take it in the rear.

i think the g limited is a very good buy for its capabilities.

I keep saying this, and nobody believes me, but Mitsubishi Starions/Chrysler Conquests make excellent drifters. RWD, turbo, tuned for oversteer from the factory, strong tranny, and I believe the engine is the one that made its way into the Eclipse so there should be parts available. Plus they have a great "I wanna be a Porsche when I grow up" look.

Cbass, you can back me up right? You know stuff...
