Re: Entex Mazda Rx4

hehe yeah my model, my taste, my way or the highway

Nah i completely understand everyones comment on the wheels, i had the same thoughts, but im liking them more and more each day.

I still have to make twin mufflers (same type as for my rx2 model) and finish indicators and a few other small details. but the wheels are staying i think!.

Re: Entex Mazda Rx4

I say,
"It's my way, no highway option."

Seems to work.

Got a new rear bumper shortly after this picture was taken. You never see these cars on the road anymore

Seems the hotspots of vintage rotaries are Australia, New Zealand, and Puerto Rico.
Hello,

Nice scale model. Love the color choice. Have to admit the wheels threw me off at first scince I am a fan of orginal non modified cars but they have sort of grown on me. Where did you find it. You mention that you don't see these anymore. Well if you happen to be in Montreal, I have one. A 1974 with the first year of the 13B. Its also in as NEW condition and never been restored. It wears all its original paint and interior and still shines like new. I bought it this summer from the original 94 year old owner (a car fenatic) who had the it professionally stored and maintained each year. I have searched for years to find one but never imagined I would find one that had been in a time capsule with only 33K original miles.
I will try to include some pictures but I am not very good at this so if they aren't here check back again soon. I did figure out how to post a link so you can see it at the following site. Sorry in advance to the site admin if I am not suppose to post a link to another site. If I am required to remove it please adivse me or if you do so I fully understand.

No that is not me in the pictures. Also, these were taken of when I fisrt saw the car before buying it. It had just been taken out of storage and not cleaned yet.

Re: Entex Mazda Rx4

Mate, that is unreal... unbeleivably find!!! im very jealous!

Good to see it will stay original. I hate seeing these type of cars being destroyed by young idiots with no appreciation for them. (models are fine though lol)

Re: Entex Mazda Rx4

Ah, I gotta come over to australia and steal the rx-2 model from ya. My brother has a 73 Rx2, and he used to own a R100 aswell.

Theres a charcol rx2 on the internet with wheels like the ones you put on your rx4 model, and it looks exactly like your model, just an rx2, not rx4.
