Re: New car maybe?

Since you can only get an automatic (now we all know why) check out the Pontiac Grand Prix GT or GTP (supercharged). They are all auto v6s and FWD. The coupe GT or GTP both have dual exhausts and look pretty sweet IMO and the 3800 engine is solid...

Re: New car maybe?

Just curious, what does your dad have against buying a Honda? It's kind of like him telling you that you can't date a girl because she's black (or insert other minority group)

Re: New car maybe?

just get something cheap to learn on, save your money, and get something you really want next year or so. 14K is a lot of money to piss away on an auto, v6 stang.

Re: New car maybe?

You could get a VW GTI with the DSG! Thats pretty much one of the best autos you can get.

Also maybe a cobalt SS supercharged (you can get them with auto)

WRX auto

E36 BMW M3 Auto (1995-1999) You can get them for under 15k now

I have run though a tank (nearly all highway) and tried to save gas and I did get 27 MPG.

Re: New car maybe?

Yeah I can't attest to the auto GTs. I have never even driven one.

Re: New car maybe?

Get a GTP. Crap man, that Grand Prix GT sounds ridiculously overpriced. I've seen GTP's in my area selling for $10K. I can't imagine paying more for the GT model.

A V6 mustang will just leave you wanting more. A GTP will smoke it, and is most likely more reliable then it as well. Have you driven a GTP yet????? Try it before you make a decision and get the stang.
