Re: Speeding Ticket

thats too bad. i've been taking it really easy now, we'll see how long before i become too confident again, and how much longer til that streak of confidence ends with a pair of colored strobes in my rear mirror.

Re: Speeding Ticket

Better off within 5-7 above most cops won't pull you over. That's all I do since my CDL Roadtest is monday and can't afford to get a ticket.

do you have a radar detector? i have an escort 8500 and it's more than paid for itself with the tickets it's helped me avoid.

i hate radar detectors, they make sounds that make me want to punch infants. plus, i don't know the laws concerning them here in NY.

i hate speeding tickets, traffic court and points on my license more. and most radar detectors have an auto-mute feature that turns the alarm off after a few beeps. also I'm from NY, there are no laws saying you can't have one, but whatever floats your boat, just a suggestion.

Re: Speeding Ticket

ur right, i just threw excuses not to get one cuz i don't feel like buying a good one, probably because i'll feel too confident again.

Re: Speeding Ticket

^that, and the few times you do get caught you never get out of it cuz they see the detector and assume that you're speeding around all the time.
