Re: Bil's New Modeling Workshop

Thanks you all for your compliments....I'm quite proud of this room I built, and I will stress that I built it completely myself from scratch....below are a couple of pics of how this garage looked. I wanted to create a "industrial, techy" kinda look, which I think I achieved. I used lots of alternative materials to put the room together. All in all, it cost me about $4500.00 bucks from start to finish. It may seem like a lot, but the extra value (and not to mention, space) I gained in my home will more than make up for it when the day comes when it's time to sell. (not anytime soon!)

The header is from Arciero-Wells Racing (CHAMP Car), either Christiano DaMatta or Oriol Servia. (only has 1897 miles on it!!!)
The Carbon Fibre brake backing plate is also from the CART series.
The brake rotor and brake hat is from CART.
The wheel and tire is from Team Kool Green (CART).
The Flugal wing and fire suit is from Orial Servia's Telefonica CART car/team.

Re: Bil's New Modeling Workshop

What to say, when you make models like you do, your building space should be built the same way. So much "takeing care" can be seen from that last picture.
Fantastic work space.
