Re: How many models in your to-do pile?

About 350, mostly 1/24 plastic, about 20 or so are resin/multimedia; plus the aditional oddities in 1/12 and 1/32.
I guess most are about closed-wheel racing, but there are also a dozen of F1.
About 1/3 of them is started in various degrees, about 20 are about to be finished, just can't bring myself to do it.

A Simple Test

Thank you Hiroboy for providing us with an excellent opportunity for a simple test. How do you react to seeing the pic below? Be honest, if only to yourself!

If you look at it and think, "Ooo, too many!" than you do posess some measure of self control and discipline, and there may in fact be hope for you.

If instead like most of us you see a pic like this and immediately think "Wow- cool stash! OK let's see- gotit, gotit, needit, needit, gotit, needit...", than theres no hope yet for you, and your stash is fated to grow ever larger. The same applies for any of you thinking "Wow, where did he find-??!! I wonder if he'll sell me...?"

I hope you've enjoyed this fascinating tour of your inner psyche.

Re: How many models in your to-do pile?

I'm gald that I'm not the only one whose owned sooooo many models For 1/24 plastic kit, guess I have less than 300 personal collection...lost count. 1/24 resin is about 12-14pcs. 1/12 F1(6pcs), 1/20 F1(20pcs), 1/12 bikes(35pcs and still climbing). I got more on others model like Garage kit (about 150pcs included 1/4 Minmay), Military (about 12-20pcs. Most of them had go for sale but just bought the new Tamiya Char B1 bis), Gundams (more than 500++ models and still climbing ) I think I will never finish building till the end of my life So most of them will go for sale very soon...lolz! On my workbench, got about 20pcs, some half done, some collect dust.

Re: How many models in your to-do pile?

Only 53. They are all stashed in the top of a closet and bit around the room I work in, which doubles as an office for me and my co-habiting girlfriend (who, undoubtedly, wishes they would all stay in the top of the closet).

We're moving in 3 weeks, at which time I will have a whole room to myself, with a whole closet to myself. The stash is likely to grow.

Re: How many models in your to-do pile?

In my to-do-when-I-get-back-home list:

Aoshima Mazda RX-7 A Spec Type GT 99'
Aoshima Nissan Vertex Ridge S15 Silvia
Fujimi Toyota Altezza RS200 with GT wing
Tamiya Nissan Skyline R32
Tamiya 1/12 SUZUKI RGV-T '00 Telefonica MoviStar

Tamiya Skyline GTR R34 needs paint stripped and engine from the 32

I get too impatient often so end up finishing a kit within the week .
