cant get an LS1 and l gotta get new Stang GT! - Page 3

l asked my wife to get a cobra and she said that she cant get a cobra with 0% interest and she cant get any discount on used cars.. she gets a VERY good discount on new cars.. imagine this 2006 mustang GT will be 19 or 20k at the most. normally they are like 30k bucks cars.

l think we are getting a very good deal on this mustang and nothing is up to me. l will ask about this saleen stuff and if it is about the same price, sure l would go with it..

l have to think positive about this car now because l dont wanna hate before l buy.. maybe l will LOVE her.. will be faster than my LT1 and newer and 36k miles warranty, 0 miles, great interior

but again, l won't die without owning an LS1 trans am!

hey doodad, is this new car going to be your car or the wife's? Sounds like its going to be her daily driver or the family car? Anyone who is married knows sometimes you have to give in and let her think she's running part of the show once in a while ... so do what you have to ... buy a ford if you have to ... anything to keep the little lady happy! Your still going to have an f-body, and you will always be welcome here ... just don't ask us how to make a ford faster then an f-body! Lets face it guys, atleast his woman has good enough taste to choose an american car ... and a muscle car at that! Just make sure you run an LS1 with her in the new car ... so she knows why you wanted one! But im sure you will still have fun in the one you get, its still going to be a muscle car, unless you let her talk you into a 6 cyl ... then we will disown you!!!! j/k

Damn only if you were aloud to get a used car, then you could get a 03 or 04 cobra slap a kenne bell blower on it and tune it and have around 650 horse. The only problem is that the 03-04 cobras are around 27k and a blower is around 5k w/a tune.

the car will be mine.. she will just co-sign for me.. abut mustang.. if l have any questions it will go to mustang forums but l wont mess with mustang for long time.. l love my LT1. actually l am happy, l am a muscle car fan and l have 2 MUSCLE CARS..

but whenn l get the car, l will post photos here.

l am kinda lucky cuz l will own a brand new car.. and l am kinda unlucky, l cant get a trans am or cobra because they are used.

Yea thats true and it sounds like you are getting a great deal on it. At least you won't have to worry about stuff breaking for a while. IMO fords 4.6 lt engine is a great engine, it is pretty reliable and will last for a long time.

i was actually looking at a 5spd stang before i got my 97..

Fast? I have yet to see one(05+) around here run what my bone stock 01 Z28 A4/273 geared car ran. Both ET and MPH. That and my Z isn't fast....

I just can't believe he's going to a mustang........

it is not up to me dude! stang or nothing. my wife will not co-sign for me for a trans am. she offered me, she could co-sign for a new stang GT or nothing. l dont have any credit history in the USA. and l tried to apply for loans but they dont approve me. so isnt this stang better than nothing? you tell me!
