Oh yeah...correct use of grammer, punctuation and spelling. What a novel idea...unlike a Pontiac.

Actually, that is kinda special. How does it seem to be holding up under the new pressure? Also, I've been kicking around the idea of changing out the TH400 in my 71 to the 6 spd from the LS1 cars some day. Do you think this would be worth while?

Edit: Oh yeah, what are the specs on your heads and your cam?

Tranny is doing fine.
Clutch is holding anything I throw at it as well.

Heads = Patriot Stage III LS6 (2.08/1.60)
Cam = 248/254 629/622 113

Re: Red Rocks

Wish I had that kind of background for pics of my car, Ohio just doesn't have very many mountains! If you've never been to Glacier National Park I recomend you go there, I liked Glacier better then Yellowstone, I was out there 2 yrs ago on my Harley. Looking good and sounding good Mr. Luos!

Hmmm, I wish my heads flowed that well. Mine are the standard 2.02 1.60 valves. Your cam is also agressive as hell and I'm assuming 113 is the centerline. That's the only way your getting any vacuum at idle and even then, i bet it's rough.

Well, if you're putting out 500-515 whp, then I guess I can expect some where around 440-450 whp then. If so I'd be more than happy.

Oh yeah, some guy with a red ws6 on my Cobalt site saw one of your posts that I put over there when I copy/pasted the Forum idiot stuff (burnt rice) for a laugh. He said something about you having a different motor swapped in, which you do, and that you're a turd and your car is slow...

Remember...even with the hybrid I do have a 402ci.

Heads flowed 314 at .600 lift.

So, let me get this straight...from what I gather you took the same 6.0 (366ci I believe) that I have in my 2500 HD truck, then bored and stroked it out to 402ci. I've heard nothing but good things about using this motor to make big power. It's not really even a small block from what I've heard, it's some where inbetween a big block and a small block, right?

What compression ratio are you running as well? 10.5?

And yeah, I'll PM you the link to that site.

Re: Red Rocks

It's still a LS style block though, just a bigger bore version.

And post that shit here, I wanna see what homeboy has to say, I need a good laugh.

I've heard the block itself is actually thicker than a typical small block though.
