Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

Thank you for your comments!

Yes, I´ll put a RB inside, don´t know yet if can manage to modify Tamiya´s RB26 to a RB25 and don´t know if it´s important. Any ideas?

Small update on front suspension, made of aluminium tubes and steel sticks. Fit for test, this will work

Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

can't you use the aoshima RB20DET engine kit?

http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS03512

it's not an RB25 but i think as far as looks go they're identical.

Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

I´m still confused about the version I´m building... I blame Aoshima for that It will be my personal 2004-2006 version

The decals, intercooler... is 2004, right? The interior is 2005-2006 Now I started the blue interior which looks like ´05-´06 and I will continue this in the engine bay. It will look like the my ref pic, because the Tamiya engine looks closest to this and has a detailed transmission, what solves my problem how to disable 4WD

I have a RB26 kit from Aoshima, too, but I don´t like it that much. It looks too big, that´s why I didn´t buy the RB20 kit yet. I think I´ll buy it for my S13 Silvia

Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

Sorry, I had posted a picture twice. Now I changed the first picture where I began to cut the hood.

Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

No? Ok.

It becomes alive

If you look closely into the Skyline you see a needle instead of the shift stick. That´s a fit for test with the transmission. Later more if you like.

Yeah, my fingerprints have changed since modelling

Hello all together,

small progress, a lot of work , firewall finished, side walls from engine bay, the struts and engine mounts.
All made from 1mm styrene and Tamyia Epoxy Quick type putty. First time used, really funny stuff this putty

Still a lot of work on the engine bay, I think I´ll close the hole in the floor next.
