Im' totally new to modelling, so brace yourselves...

How do I get one of these magnificent car models? I don't have the skill/time/attentionspan to put on together myself, but I'd really love to have a model rally car (specifically a Lancer Evo V or VI). Die cast would be cool. The important thing is price. Can SS2k or Guiddy help me out here. Many thanks...

If you dont have the time etc you will be better off getting a die-cast model.
But buy a kit and have a go at doing one. Get a nice simple one that is easy to do and have a go. Tamiya would be your best bet to get.
Nothing is better then seeing something you buy as bits turn into something that you built yourself.

Oh, they do, both in road and rally versions. They didn't come out lately, so you may have to look a bit, but they're out there. Try searching Hobby Link Japan. Thay have a great selection, but they're in Japan, so shipping can cost a bit. But, in any case, their catalog will give you a good idea what's out there. Don't forget to look on ebay, too.

Good luck! Let us know what you pick, and browse around for our more common tips. Definately chack out Guiddy's write up about the new Tamiya WRX in this forum. Step by step, it's very nice.

And of course, don't hesitate to ask if you have questions.
