Re: Gotian and Musashi, a night on the town.

well his Jetta aint no push over. you guys really underesstimate those 1.8Ts. they can do crazy shit with just intake, cat-back and ECU. its just we get them wickedly ristricted from factory. reflash the ecu and turn up the boost and you got a little pocket rocket right there.

They're about as different from a Neon as a 03-04 SVT Cobra is to a 99-04 Mustang GT.

They may look similar, but everything under the body panels is different.

Motor is different, tranmission is different... even the rear suspension is different.

But that's your opinion.

That is my opinion, and I don't much care how fast they are. At the end of the day you are still driving a Dodge Neon.... And plus I drove one and it was awful. The interior was hideous and very unsporty. Not only was it unsporty, but it was also uncomfortable. It was stupid hard to get traction in, and was only fun from a roll.

The car is just.......Yuck.

Re: Gotian and Musashi, a night on the town.

Seriously does anyone know where I can get hijack blocker?

awww screw it! if ya cant beat em.....

I used to have a SRT-4. Bought it first year they came out before the hype started. I gotta admit the 70-30 weight distribution is a joke and yes its a FWD that can only go straight. The wheels are thin, 205 thin. the grip on those tires sucks, the rear windows are cheap roll-em-downs, the boost lag is tremendous and the body is so thin that hitting bugs will dent you bumper, the seats are made from pleather and the plastic finish is real cheap.

Other then that they are awsome bang for the buck. you get so much power and speed for so little dough. Thats what really sold the car to me. That and the fact I was a broke ass college kid at the time. What more can u ask for on a Toys "r" us sallary?

Still its the attitude of people that brings it so much hate. most of the guys that buy them are ex-ricers who drove shitty cars and now they got more power then they ever thought possible (like in my case). So they go mad crazy and have no respect for other enthusiest till they get owned hard.
You cant hate on all SRT-4s, just on the stupid drivers.
were actually lucky that our ressident SRT-4 guys are all cool as shit and we've yet to get an SRT-4 nazi!

You must have missed the dampachi days. I think he got banned and changed his name so many times I think he just gave up on AF... but still locks his dyno sheets and time slips in his safe and wears the key around his neck.

Re: Gotian and Musashi, a night on the town.

Yeah he was pretty cool but he made some awful enemies for some reason which provoked a lot of hostile threads. I forget his new name though.

some people hate what they know nothing about......and you kid...dont know p diddy about the srt.......I really dont know if its your stupidity, age, lack of knowledge, or fear of the car but you kid are ridiculous ...to hate and knock on a car like you do.....and make 90% of your threads about an srt...by the way the grandma buying a srt in mistake of a base neon was a good one .....is just plain rice bro....I dont really care for stangs cause 90% of the owners think they could beat anything they line up to..but thats another story....even with me disliking stangs I still wouldnt knock or hate on the car and make 10 threads about it......but then again thats just my opinion....
