Re: A farewell to Musashi.

LS2 the vxr is little more beefed then the gto i think *bigger brakes and tougher suspension i thought* But have fun with it i plan on seeing alot of donuts and burnouts hehehehe. Maybe even a nice little GTO vs GTO hehehehehe

Re: A farewell to Musashi.

Very nice. From the cars you were test driving I figured you'ld be going with a V6 or smaller (ie. renesis rotary) but there is nothing wrong with a LS2. I think the LS1 GTO's only had 350hp (still a lot) instead of 400hp if I'm correct.

Re: A farewell to Musashi.

yes the 5.7 had 350.
The GTO and the VXR are the same car, nothing but a few interior things change.

I would of gotten the Z or the RX-8 but I mean look at the prices.
The Z was 28K and with the better brakes and suspension would of been 31K
the RX-8 I loved bellieve it or not, more then the Z but Gotian is planning on getting one and he got upset when I almost signed for one. I always loved the GTOs but they where priced at 36, 37K. when I saw the dealer dropped them to 32K I flipped.
I had to get one.

Re: A farewell to Musashi.

The reason they probably dropped them is because sales for GM (especially the GTO) are down the shitter. Glad to here you got a good deal.

Re: A farewell to Musashi.

Congrats on the Goat! dont kill urself man lol...400bhp is serious business!. how do you like the trunk space in that? oh wait, there isnt any! gooood gas tank in the trunk! (is the gas tank still in the trunk? or was that only on the early models? thats one other changes between the Holden and Chevy, had to move the gas tank to pass US crash standards)

Well, good luck man! KEEP THAT TRACTION CONTROL ON!

Re: A farewell to Musashi.

nah I would Sell it and get Ralliart to tweak my Ralli spec. I'm not into fords and holdens but they can be crazy machines. My freind has a moded 2004 Holden HSV, he was going about 80mph shifted into 4th and put the pedal to the floor, damn thing almust spun out, it did give off a nice cloud of smoke.
