i'm worried bout the 10bolt and the clutch... my clutch is only rated for 300hp, which i know i'm already passed... don't know if it would hold up to the launches...

i live in southern md... i was pullin about 1.8 1.9 60fts feathering the shit out of the clutch.. the cobras should have shinned top and and caught back up to ya.. if you look at my trap which was almost 130 some 10 sec cars arnt even trapping that!!

that's weird... damn cuz the cobra's i've raced, i would give them the hit, and i would end up putting a fender on them at about 110 or so, then we would hold there till about 125...

lol im on a stock cluth in the camaro too!! and im hitting 11s all night long with no problems and i drive it daily.. i have the same trans as you and a perfection stock clutch from advance auto

LOL stock clutch... mine is a ram clutch rated a 300, i'm kinda scared to feather it, i suppose if i feathered the shit out of it i could get below a 2 sec 60ft... but i don't want to destroy it... i feather it for only about a half second then i let it all the way out...

i dont run my car too often.. but i feather mine out around 5k lol ive done it about 20 times with no problems yet

i managed that 1.6 ft with a car with cut springs also

damn 1.6 on a stock clutch, that's damn good... i feather it at 3500 for a half second, then let it all the way out, only at about half throttle to keep from spinning... i slowly push it farther to the floor, by the time i top out first i'm to the floor. like i said i'm conservative cuz i'm afraid of fuckin up the clutch....

maybe so, but i've had pretty much the same thing happen on 3 different cobras, 2 were convertible and the other was a coupe
i beat a chipped pulley and exhaust conv cobra from a dig when mine was stock... and he wasnt catching up!

yea ive been told many times that its a factory freak, it was built on a monday and that im a freak drive... hell my dad ran a 12.9 in it stock

maybe you have one of those freak lt1s also... you cant judge how fast a car is by every other car..
