This is post id for the person who posted that a spec v can hang with a WRX on the highway or possibly even the quarter mile.....................................NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS. A WRX will blow the doors off a spec v...1/4 mile, HWY, and any other place you can think of.
Sorry to break it to you. I was gonna buy a spec v as you can see by my name...i still love them, but when i test drove a wrx...there was no comparisson. PEACE

Here we go again.....
Got somebody esle who doesn't believe me. Normally I wouldn't entertain this kind of @%$# but I'm getting really tired of people acting like I'm lying to make myself sound good or something. Never in million years huh? Okay first off I have no doubt that it will blow me out the water in a quarter mile, I never said that I could beat one in that aspect. You know what ..........if you don't believe me, just so this won't turn into a big ass debate here's my boys phone number and you can ask him yourself, his name is Lance (318) 747-2056. Give him a call tonite or tomorrow sometime after 5. We were doing about 65mph on the way back from Texas and we both punched it, we were both dead even the whole time. We got up to about 130. I have nothing to lie about bro, whenever I post something up here it's the truth. I never said that I could beat one in a quarter mile, I don't know where you got that from. Why does it sound so impossible to you anyway. How much horspower do you think is left on your TURBO car after doing about 120? Trust me when I tell you that I hung with your car on the highway. guys.....add an rsx type s to my list. holy crap i couldn't believe it. he was tailing me when i was on my way to my friends house and then when we got open road we both took off. he started pulling a little and then i just took off and he couldn't pull no longer. we hit about 110. i was like HELL YEAHHHHHHH. ok, i gotta go to work, just thought i'd share.

Damion I totally belive, in the beginning we are not expected to keep up but on an open road there turbo wouldn't last the hole time.I totally believe you.
Jedi_sentra_spec-v I also totally agree with you too, I think the front is disgusting. See everyone me and Jedi_sentra_spec-v are good pals and the other night when we were cruising in our spec v's we saw an awsome looking wrx with gold wheels and we checked out the front and it ruined the hole car. We were happy to be spec v owners, Subaru made a big mistake with the front end of that car. And SER Speedalot isn't that awsome. No one thinks we could run with a rsx type-s. It's a great feeling to be underestimated and then win haha.

damn man, i'm so proud of our car, we can beat a rsx-s and it costs us about 4-5k less to have a faster car, hehe :hehe:

Yeh the rsx type-s is definitly my favorite kill, just because people make suck a big deal over that car and compare it to a wrx. I love racing them.
And did anyone ever race against a fellow spec v ? Me and Jedi_sentra_spec-v got to mess around but not a chance to race each other yet

i agree with ya zane on that. that was definitely my favorite kill. civics are fun to beat, but its such a sure thing that its not very exciting. but when you show a type s how its done, thats fun. the one i raced was dropped on some aftermarket wheels. haha, looked tight, but it couldn't beat my 4 door family car. lol

It was a fun night for me (but no rsx's haha). I got 2 kills and a pussy. Beat a riced out bmw that was prolly my fav. Then a mustang TOTALLY pussed out I wanted to kill it. And last on the way home took down that faster focus the svt. It was a fun night haha.

Ahhhh man I'm so jealous
 . I have been wanting to run one of those ever since I heard that they put them in the same category as our cars, the 1.8t golf, and the new si. How was it, just a waste of gas or something worth talking about. As far as the RSX TypeS goes, I deffinatley agree with it being my favorite race. Hey SER Speealot, good job on your kill, feels good doesn't it to beat that car?Tonite I was messing with a 2000+ Prelude. He didn't want to run when got behind me. Pusssssyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!! Oh well! Hey guys hopefully this weekend will be the weekend that I get to video tape something for ya. I just got my stock rims powder coated black with metallic grey in it and they look good. My next post is going to be about them because I don't know how to post the pictures on the site. My springs should be here tomorrow. I went with Progress from www.pttuning.com. babyskyline.....good luck on installing that springs man, it's sooo plain n simple, it only took an hour and a half to 2 hrs to finish, waaaaaaay easier than installing springs on a honda/acura, and also good choice on springs, u'll notice it's gonna be a lil rougher than stock but not much

Let me add a Toyota Tundra w/a full complement of TRD equipment! On my way to work this morn we were side by side at the stop light, and he was revving up. Because there was another red light coming up, I let him go. At the next light, he was revving up again, (those v-8's sound nice!) so I slid it into first, and waited for the green.
It was not even funny! I had him by 2 car lengths before I shifted into 3rd! It was a 50 mph zone, so when I got to 60, I just let off the gas, I also had to turn soon. It felt nice!!! What a good way to start the day!

I really don't understand how they are compared so close in performance in road and track, and beat him bad right off the start (best launch i ever had little spin then perfect). Right off the start i took him had hiim by alot the hole time.Maybe the guy sucked ass at driving the bmw was also real fun. I thought it would be closer.
Yeh and i wanna see pics of these wheels sounds good. Muphasta keep on adding to that kill list

Man you guys are lucky. The only time I get to race is usually on weekends and that doesn't even happen that much. Sometimes I even try and mess with people to start something, but nothing. The only time something ever happens is if I don't expect it. Hopefully so more people will come around. Peace:alien:
