Good to finally meet y'all.

Just gotta figure out why my computer is killing the fun at 7200.

Pete, I heard your VTEC click in (cause the relay is louder than the exhaust!!!)

Here's the link to the results. It was 2 power runs. People who wanted tuning, had to wait to the end.

Limp Home???

So is that all limp home does is drop the rev limiter by 1000. I thought it gave you crappy running and minimal functions?

If you asked (which I did) then they monitored your A/F ratio. Mine was perfect all through the run (well til 7200 of course)

Can anyone tell me what 91Kw is in HP?

about 125ish. Check the 4g forum, Setanta converted it there.

You car is actualy making as much hp as I expect it to.

The Limp home mode does a few things. In my car it lowers the limit to about 7 something, (7200 obviosly) and richens up the fuel mixture quite a bit.
Iv heard it also disables VTEC, but im not actualy to sure on this, as Iv only had it go into limp mode once when I got a bit carried away going a bit hard on a long up hill corner with a low oil level.

One minute I was pulling 7900rpm in 2nd with all 4 tyres squeeling, and the next the car was bouncing of the limiter, I had no VTEC. The ECU shut it off with the loss of oil pressure and then entered limp mode and lowered the rev limit.

But you should be getting peak hp at about 7,800rpm, so if you made 125hp at only 7,200rpm then you might yet have another maybe 6-7hp tucked away in there.

Yeah, mixtures were perfect and VTEC isn't up to the computer anymore .

The graph hits a cliff at 7200 so I figure there are a few ponies hiding somewhere

Was gonna drag it tommorrow night but if it's in limp......oh what the hell, the mixtures are right and at least I won't over rev it

Does it simply stop making hp at 7,200 or does it actualy hit the limiter?

Thier both quite differnt things, and could be caused by differnt problems.
(all related to your swap)

and what are you useing to control the VTEC?

No it definitely hit the limiter. You could hear it BAD. HP line goes vertical straight down and A/F spikes big time.

I'm using a Autometer shift module that is supposed to actuate a remote shift light but I've got it operating my VTEC. Simply change the chip to change the revs (or as I do change the cyl. I've got a 3000 chip but the switch is on 6 cyl so VTEC comes in at 4500)

I'm gonna havta redo the wiring in the coming weeks as its logging a TDC code and a VSS code. Not suprising seeing tho I aint got a VSS sender
