I trashed the hinges and the underchassis.. I TRY building this as a copy of Kurtl´s (automotive forums) Capri..



This is all that is left from the underchassis

Okey.. here it goes.. started to put together the NEW chassis today.. since I´m going full out on this one I will try scratchbuilding as much as I can
Hope you like the new progress on this one

Worked quite much with this one today.. Got the underchassis about 75% completed.. and for the rest.. ahh see for yourself

The interior and the "engine room :roll: "?



Underchassis.. as you can see there is quite much left... still got some puttying to sand and some other minor things..



Recognize all the parts? :roll: hehe.. This is a REALLY fun build.. but it´s quite tricky to get everything to fit properly.. :P

The pics of your project is better then the Tamiya manual.. but Iīm kind of stuck with the "second" firewall if you understand.. and I dont have any strips left for the roll-cage so I will buy thoose on friday or today I think..

UPDATE ! ! !
Hereīs an update of this everlasting project

Custom made Rear-axle



Seat..
First time using PE-buckets though.. But I think it looks atleast good.. You canīt see very much though :-?



Trunk: Not much to say about this :P



Chassis: Looks like it did like a month ago :roll:



Chassis: With the seat "installed".. just put it there to see how it looked

Update !

Been working a little bit today..
Made a "hole" in the firewall.. Still got some putty work left..





Roll-cage bar? :roll: that´s going straigt trough the car..



Have been working on the other side now..





the Pedals.. 100% scratchedbuilt !

You are putting a huge amount of heart and effort into this build Rikard

It's interesting to see how your appraoch - you seem to work on many parts at the same time whereas, where possible, I tend to take one part and work it all the way through and then move on to the next. Must try it your way sometime. Also I tend to sand and clean up parts immediately.

I have to do many things at one time for now since the time is ticking and I have SOOO much left =/ But I THINK I might get it to the contest.. I SURE hope so.. cause I think I bought it in October last year. I have been kind of lazy with this project until now when Iīm in a hurry :P

The trunk is about 60% complete at this moment..









Almost a perfect match :P



Rear Diffuser







Made 2 new front suspension/roll-cages? :oops: better this time.. equally matched..
