He claims it as a 52 it may be because it was produced in 52 and thats what it says on the VIN plate....But Ill go get some pics and post them up its is a really clean vette. I dont know much about muscle car history...so my memory may be failing me just always talked to friends telling them 52 but he might have even told me 53.

Just saying, first year of the Corvette was 1953. But like most cars, sales of them happened in late 1952, which means they were produced through early 1952 to meet debute deadlines.

Technically speaking, yes it's a '52. But sold and marketed as a '53.

LoL, AL-MOST! We were actually both lined up together. But that gaylord of a stager chose me and a stock STi. IDK why... I would have lost to the line, but pulled him after the line like no other. 99mphvs105+mph. I know we prolly would have went to 120-130 knowing him and the fact that our raceway has a very very long stretch after the lines.

Now if he lined up and I got a good launch.... but we'll leave that to fate.

Every time I see somebody talking shit about V8's I think "ignorant" . What kind of motor am I supposed to put in my 68'? Sure you could force induct a 250 or 292 L6, but there are only so many of those out there, and it's not everybodies cup of tea. Or hey maybe those of us who have a taste in classic or muscle cars, along with our taste for rice, can just buy up all the sr20's and load those into our clumbsy, undercompesated, classics . Some people like them (V8), get over it cause they'll never go away... well maybe some day, but so will every other i.c motor.
Now those 5'5 guys who drive those uber gay lifted F150's ..."compensating for something?"
I love my 72' Nova and it's soon too be T04 60-1 or T04b charged L6.
I also love the shit out of my 68' 327 camaro that is waiting to be built.
I also love well built imports cause i'm not narrow minded.
The only thing I am lacking below the belt is a wallet full of cash to build these cars ,

i was basically refering to the guys that think that v8 is the best thing ever and hate imports...if u like imports and v8's thats awesome.....i give respect to v8's cuz they are fast....but most of the ppl around here, that drive mustangs and shit, are like "look at ur piece of Jap shit, get a muscle car, something that is fast"....now they are compensating for something....its really funny to see the expression on their face after i walk away from them too...

Yea, it is awsome watching a car that is really well built beat the pants off of some pos. I hate the muscle car guys who see my Nova and go "beat and chink rockets lately?" You just wanna dick-slap their ignorant asses. It's not a fuckin rivalry. It's about a mutual passion to build fast cool shit to do stupid stuff in, no matter what the cars heritage is.

Exactly dude...i have just as much repect for someone that drops a 440 in a 89 mustang...he obviously loves his car....but when that person rips on me for havin a 240 and says he will "smoke" my piece of Jap shit....i get pissed....I put a Rb25det in my car and i know there is no way he will take me...its the guys that dont have respect for me and what i do taht piss me off...everyone has there own style....
