Re: Upcoming suspsension decision...

Chassis strengthening is cheap and it helps out. Less body flex, more responsive, ect ect.

Re: Upcoming suspsension decision...

I'm running the Tein basics right now, they are fairly good for daily driving, and did a good job in helping me drift off my cheap winter tires.

Re: Upcoming suspsension decision...

for less $$ you could just get tein basics for like 800 or tein super streets for 1200

if you want cheaper than 800 bucks, you may as well just get tokico illuminas/ground control springs or some setup like that

and no, buddy club is not the same shit as megan racing...
how do you figure that some ricer company can make the same quality stuff as a stable and proven company like buddy club?

although i wouldnt get them just because they have so much experience with hondas and not as much with nissans. the only nissan i ever see them fuck with is the skyline

if it was me...id get the kei office coilovers. even if i couldnt afford them...

Re: Upcoming suspsension decision...

The Megans are just a copy of the Buddy Clubs, they are probably not as good quality, but they have all the same features.

Megans arent copys of Buddy Club they dont even have an Inverted Front strut, Megans are made by a Korean company named Bor-Chuan. Theres a rumour going around that they're the exact same as Apex-i Exvs but I think thats something that was started to sell them or just so some fanboy could justify them to KTS/Silks/Buddy Clubs

If Megans Are copied off of anything Id say it would be the cheaper Racing Gear coilovers... at least thats what the perches make me think.

Theres no point to buy basics or Super Streets over the Shock Spring combo. pretty much all of Teins entry levels arent worth the money.

Re: Upcoming suspsension decision...

after I put some on my suspension setup, the only significant body roll is from my stock sized tires.

sway bars are definetly something you want, those along with strut bars and bracing are the next susp. parts I need and you can totally tell when you take a turn, it sticks, but it still rolls a little. (not a 240 but same idea) sways are one of the most important peices of the suspension.
