Good question.. I would think it's mostly the tire cause they prob use softer tires witch wear faster.. and then it's mixed with dirt and crap.. i don't know it's just a guess

Just SICK! I love the weathering and the scratch on the front bumper. One of the best!

I don't think you could have done anything to make me love that model any more than I do. Just a perfect job, color me impressed, Joeham. Fantastic!

After seeing so many cars with showroom condition, seeing this car felt so special. It's simple yet it shows this DC2 really has an attitude

I am looking forward to see some interior shots!
Thanks for the feedback man, I have to admit i got a little carried away with the dirt on the sides. I was talking to willimo not to long ago and i mentioned that too and we came to agree that this car raced in a 24hour endurance race I also realized that this car didn't have mudflaps, those might have held up some dirt that would have gone to the side.

Thanks alot everyone, i thought everyone was going to flame me for not using CF decal on the hood, its good to see that i was commented for what i did right and not for what i did wrong

Wow crap...imagine having to wash the tires + asbestos + dirt mixtures off, not to mention probably some dead bugs in front during the high speeds too. I had to wash bugs off my car occasionally and I swear I was damn frustrated. I can never rub the blood off!

No problems man. Your build just inspires me to try a new style of building cars - weathered/used/hard driven cars @.@ Looks real cool!

Don't worry about the hood. Honestly I don't even know how to put on a CF decal. The last one I tried bubbled like an adolescent boy's face JKJK!

Hope you get better soon about your grandma passing away

Thanks alot guys, bad news. With the passing of my grandma my parents decided to go to my country to attend her funeral and they took the digital camera with them I'll see if my sister's boyfriend lends me his for a couple of shots.

Btw: I just picked up some rare modifiers for 3 dollars each at K B Toys ! A VSM Civic EX Coupe and a Milano Red Integra GSR ! I never knew they had those colors for those cars !

Thanks alot man, yea its a pain to get rid of particles on cars. When i was my dad's Jetta i sometimes even use rubbing compound to get rid of some stuff that wont come off ! Ofcourse i don't have a car yet Worst thing is when the rocks chip your front bumper when your too low

Hey thanks.
I ordered the kit from HLJ.com.
Here is a re-issue of the kit.
http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ03626

Interior was taken from one of Fujimi's discontinued racing Integra's. The Gathers Integra brings this racing Interior and can still be found at HLJ.com for a reasonable price considering its the only one left
http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ06211

The smoke on the back bumper from the exhaust was done with an Airbrush. Thinned down Tamiya Acrylic XF-1 Flat black with Isopropyl Alcohol and airbrushed it.

Re: Completed~Fujimi Spoon Sports Honda Integra Type R :Track:

I just checked the Gathers Integra. It says out of stock on HLJ. It was discontinued but I haven't even seen that model in person yet!. I will wait for the racing interior pics to come soon enough

Now back to the dead bugs and bumpers No matter if the car is lowered or not, the rock chips are like unavoidable. 3rd day after I drove around my brand new Mitsubishi Lancer, I got a big (like 5mm diameter) rock chip on my... trunk lid!? So far it had been 5 months and my front bumper, headlights, and hood are now also ravaged by those damn pebbles as well.

My car is grey though, so the dead bugs are probably not as visible as if they are on a white or black car.
