Re: Blitz Nur SpecR

Backpressure doesn't incresse low-end torque. Its the increased gas velocity due to a much smaller outlet that increases low end torque.

LOW END TORQUE=OVERRATED

Seriously, who the hell cares about making torque below 4k anyways?

Response 1: "Oh, well I don't have to downshift to smoke your ass!!!111.

Great douchebag. You're the king of 1k-4k. My turbo spools at 4k.

Response 2: "My car is much more fun to drive from day to day since I have a much more friendly powerband,"

Uh okay, since when was there an RPM limit sign?

Response 3: "I own you off the line!!!1"

Ever heard of a clutch? Ever heard of raising the RPM before launching and slipping the clutch? Ever heard of who gives a F*** about "getting someone off the line,"?

Low end torque, right up there with Oprah's hemmoroids in WHO GIVES A f**K?

On a side note, I do understand the noise thing.

Re: Blitz Nur SpecR

Whats a flammer? One who performs flams? Like a drummer or something? A flam is a rudament from percussion. I remember that much. Hmmm...

no, backpressure doesnt increase power, but the right amount of backpressure at the right point will add power. too little or too much and you will lose power. i wasnt saying that just because theres more that you will gain power.

Re: Blitz Nur SpecR

Backpressure=bad. Plain and simple. Maintaining exhaust velocity is what increases low end and high end power. What size exhuast and intake piping/porting decides where you make peak exhaust gas and intake velocity and decides where you make PCP(Peak Cylinder Pressure AKA peak torque).
