I know that model as I've been offered it before. I know the guy who made it and it's definately a custom. I would say it's this persons worst custom as he's other work is much higher quality. Notice the Goodyear and OZ livery, and the Michelin and Speedline combo on the car!

Very shocking as I have seen XP1LM in Historic Orange colour go for about this price. I thought this Blue XP1LM would have got about £300 at least! Very upsetting for those who have this model in their collection! The Last Silver one in auction (from the same seller) got £270!!!! |

Why would we who own it be upset?? I paid 141 Euro for mine. Things like this happen all the time on eBay. I bought a 1:12 blue McLaren for $141 last year. Sometimes there's just that one auction that slips away while other times it gets insane bids. People often thinks there's no point in bidding because they assume what you said, that it would go so much higher than what they are willing to pay, so they just don't bother bidding on it. Thinking about it, I bought my first silver LM for 51 Euros, last year I saw one sell for £1032 on Yahoo Japan
