Pardon my ignorance, but which nut exactly do you mean? the spindle nut? The wheel spins straight and there is no movement except for some slight (like 1mm) of play in the axle itself. Thanks!

Re: Whats under your hood?!?!

the nut on the end of the axle is used to preload the bearing. In the rear it is a spindle nut, since there is no axle, in the front it is the axle nut.

Re: Whats under your hood?!?!

after calculating costs, i came up with 3700 roughly, i make about 1300 a month, so i figure in 3 months with 3900, that should take care of all the unexpected costs.

hasports mounts - 500
clutch&flywheel - 500
syncros ls trans - 200
b16 obd1 dist - 200
obd1-obd0 conversion - 100
p28 ecu socketed - 150
laptop - 500
uberdata equipment - 600
cams and retainer - 800??
GE lsvtec kit - 200

idk might have to forgo the cams for now. i have to go back to school in august so im just going witht he bare essentials first, i might not even have the money in time to tune it with uberdata, might just have to run off a stock pr3 or p30. but yeah i know what your talking about, about it taking way longer than expected
