This just makes me want to break out my Members Only jacket and leg warmers... Here's a few more to the list- "Destination Unknown" Missing Persons , "Let's Go All The Way" Sly Fox, Bruce Willis' attempt in music with "Respect Yourself", Puttin' on the Ritz" by Taco, and Don Johnson's attempt in the '80s with "Heatbeat"

Yessir we're talkin' fine aged cheese here

No list of the cheesiest songs is complete without "jump" by Van Halen. Man, what a horrible, horrible cheesetastic song.

Ok, I have one song that is so cheesy it makes my head spin. But, it sucks!!! It's from 82-84. I don't really recall. It's called" I got a brand new pair of rollerskates you got a brand new key." I cannot for the life of me remember who sings it, the year, ect. If any of the older forum members can help me out I'd really appreciate it. If you figure it out just e-mail me. Thanks.

80s music is awesome especially when you feel no shame driving around blasting it full blast from your car. I feel like doing this

Re: Cheesy 80's tunes

OMG I know what you mean by that song. It was sung by Melanie and came out in 1971. I remember listening to that song on the AM radio all through the '70s LOL. I heard another band, Rasputina, a goth-metal band recently covered the song as well.

Good, somebody who knows it. I'm only 30, my buddy is 36. He sang that damn song all race weekend long. I asked him who sang it. He had no clue, said he heard another friend of his singing it. () I hate the song. But, now I have to find a recording of it just to torture him. Thanks for the info.
