i dont know about the height thing. i think he was "pikin'" about your gramatical error.

yes, boost jets give increse boost levels but they cost a fraction of what a boost controller costs, even a manual bosot controller.

id say about 400HP @ 15psi with intake and cat-back.

K3 I haven't stopped laughing yet

Seems someplace their's been a breakdown in a joke.
As about your gramatical error, I'm afraid that was way over the head. Gotta keep it down to 1 an 2 syllible words.

Re: Past Z Car Forum Projects: Remixed

Ooo, ooo, ooo...I wanna play...

Car: None...HA...beat THAT...

Project "code" name: "It took hitting a curb, basically totalling the car out, to get me to actually get this going." Or: "Yay...I have a VG30ET in storage..."

Goal: A 9 second Z31...I've only seen one...that's a damn good goal as far as I'm concerned...I've only seen one. You want to sum up my goal easily? My goal is to beat YOU...as far as I'm concerned, I'll beat the VAST majority of people I come across if I'm running 9's.

Drivability date: Who the HELL knows...engine's in 2347827649028398461234 pieces right now and I have nothing bought for it yet.

Completion date: Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight....gunna have to get back to you on that one...

Status: Just waiting for the damn weather to get not so damn miserable. It was warm for a few days...took about 3 hrs to get the whole engine torn down to the crank pully and cam gears, which presented a bit of a problem...but I WILL get those bitches off...after that...it's off to the machine shop(s).

Stuff that was on the car when bought:
Bilstein shocks...kinda irrellivant [sp.] now.

Stuff I added:
Broken manual boost controller that never worked right.
K&N cone intake.
"Poor man's" high flow exhaust...Eg: the last third of it was missing completely.
And...um...yea...that's about it...

Planned shit:
Who knows...can't tell you all everything...................................

Things that are definate...keep in mind...this only goes for the engine since there is no car. -

Bigger turbo...already have the stock one off...that's a must...15 PSI won't be enough when I'm done...

Better flowing heads, intake manifold and exhaust manifold.

Bigger injectors.

Possibly losing the A/C and power steering.

UD crank pully.

Engine balancing.

Blow off valve...probably an SSQV.

After it gets in a car is a whole seperate list that's long and expensive within it self...

Greddy Profev B-Spec II boost controller.

My mini turbo timer that I bought and never had installed.

3" exhaust.

Another K&N cone intake.

Jim Wolf ECU.

Staged wet nitrous system with computer control...why do dry?...

Who knows what else...all I know is that my shit WILL probably beat yours when I'm done...cuz I wouldn't have it any other way.

Long Live the Z has spoken on his VG30ET project...

Re: Past Z Car Forum Projects: Remixed

I have my 88. I'll always have a Z31 in my corral.

Things I've considered doing with the engine when done:

Drop it in my current Z31:
-Pros...I like my current car. It's pretty clean and all.
-Cons...That'd be kinda expensive cuz, not only would I have to pay to get it put in, but I'd have to pay to have the current VG30E taken out...then I'd have a VG30E layin around.

Buy a good body to put it in:
-Pros...I'd have 2 complete cars...one screamer that I could then build up the rest of the way.
-Cons...well...I haven't really thought of any yet. Find a body in decent shape...could probably find one pretty cheap...and drop it in. This is probably what I'm going to do.

Put it in a 240SX:
-Pros...I've recently been eyeballin S14s. I really like them. You guys know about that white SE I tried to buy before buying my Z31...after I drove that, I've been kinda stuck on them. Always liked them...just now I know how cheap I can find them. It'd also be original.
-Cons...I don't even know if it's possible to do this. Never seen it done. It'd also probably be pretty expensive and probably be huge pain in the ass.

Also thought about putting the VG30ET in a Z32 body...just for shits and giggles...but I dunno...

I dunno what I'm gunna do yet...I'm gunna build it first...cuz, after all, build it and they will come, right?
