There was a guy at my high school that had a z28 and one day he put a car cover on it. I had to laugh at that, but i had to laugh more that he got the shit keyed out of it. Never saw the car cover on again.

Damn straight I do, I made my fortune in the Waaaaambulance business, I make HUGE business from the 5% of the New Zealand voting public who vote for the Green party.

But in all seriousness, I'm not overly rich, my dad is reasonably well off, he part-bought me my first car (a Mk II Jetta) and helped pay for my car after that (a '94 Civic), but refuses to buy me anything overly flash, which is good if you ask me, oh and I'm paying for my next car by myself.

But there were people at school who had nice cars, one had a brand new Holden S Ute and was one of the most down-to-earth people I knew and another had a brand new Subaru Legacy RS30 3.0 and he was a cunt, but I hated him WELL before I knew how rich he was. If parents want to buy thier kids nice cars then let them, no need to get jealous and pissy.

Re: Spoiled Brats

Alright, I know a girl at my old high school that got a boxter, and actually came to school crying about it. literally in tears, because her daddy didn't geet her a Land Rover, which was apparently the "thing to get" for high school girls...

I mentioned in the "What's the worst thing you ever did" thread that I was there when some kids took a bat to some other kids 96-97ish supra?
That kid lived in a shit town prolly 20 miles away from my city. he comes to school halfway thru semester with a black stock Supra. Told EVERYBODY it was a 2JZ, but it was actually naturally aspirated. Then he said he had $200,000, (or was it $140,000?) in a settlement from a car accident. either way he was lying: he had $40 grand and he put almost all of it into that Supra. Then his rep follows him to our school. he transfered because the way he got the money. His best friend and him were in his best friend's truck and someone ran it off the road by drifting across the line. Kid turns around, fakes an ear injury, couldn't find a doctor to believe one for 4 months, finally did, went to court and SUED his BEST FRIEND over the whole thing, only got 40 grand, but told everybody he got 200. Then everybody at his hick school found out what he did had ne got beat up a few times, so he transfered... Then he starts telling people he's already "preordered an NSX". That was 3 years ago. I went by the local performance shop a few weeks ago, they mentioned him and apparently he's still telling people he has this NSX on order... month and a half into him being there, he got his car keyed just to death, then he wrecked it racing a 3KGT. Then my best friend's boyfriend shows me his house, (cuz he went to school where kid had to transfer from. He literally lived in a double-wide (nothing wrong with those, but just helping to prove a point) His mother worked at Wal-Mart and paid his insurance for him.
Then after it got batted, dood couldn't fix it for nearly a year, and I think it's still not fully fixed. The back window was ACTUALLY ceran wrapped for the longest time.

There was also a kid @ my school whose parents bought him a brand new Maxima (no big deal) that he wrapped around a pole when he was drunk. Then they bought him another car not REALLY new, that he wrecked while drunk again. then they bought him a brand new F-150 end of our senior year, which he promptly used to run some dood down that pissed him off. Kid goes to jail, dad doesn't bail him out. Kid stays in jail for a few months... taught him a little lesson, but now he's got a cherokee on 24s... roflmao. they're ghey. He threw all sorts of parties n shit at his parents hose. he had them wrapped around his finger, till he went to jail. then they ds0wn3d him. serves that bitch right. Still hasn't learned shit tho.

*sigh* people R funny
