I sitll have confidence in American made cars and believe this ride is worth every penny. Like I said before, if I don't get any calls in a couple weeks I'll try selling on eBay (with a reserve of course) Anyone think it would be a smart move? |

The ads finally posted the correct price. I'm hoping I get some calls on this black beauty!

Re: What is a good price for a 02
these cars lost their value so quickly cause they got replaced. Gm desperately wanted to get rid of any left over cavaliers on the lot to make room for the cobalts. The cavalier repacement. Combine that with some great rebates and such, ive seen people get brand new cavaliers for 7,000-10,000 dollars depending on what they got with them. They were trying so hard to get rid of them they had a deal going for a little bit that if you bought a chevy Tahoe, they gave you a cavalier for FREE!

I hate to do this but, since I can't seem to sell this puppy I'm thinking of selling my 1.8 Turbo VW. Click here for more on it http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=379459

I just got an offer for 5K... Wow, there goes a thousand dollars. What do you guys think? I personally don't think it's worth selling it for that low, this car is practically brand new. I talked it over with my wife and I guess it's probably best if we sell it. It's been sitting in the garage for 6 months and I am still paying insurance on it. Just another expense that we don't need. I could keep it and give it to my son when he turns 16. What do you guys think? Is 5000.00 a reasonable price?

5,000 is a really good price for a 2.2L 2200. I know it sucks, but your gonna have to bite the bullet on this one. Or it would be a really good idea to keep it for your son when he turns 16. I had a 2.2L cavy when i turned 16, its a good car to learn on. Not very powerful so you dont have to worry about him street racing it. Handles well.

Just got back from a test drive, looks like it may go for 5K. Will let you know tomorrow. I did have to buy some new winshield rubber wipers since they looked damaged.

Not sure if this sounds shady, but he wants me to sign it over and let him fill out the DMV paperwork when he resells the car. I think he might be a wholesaler that doesn't want to pay taxes, but I think that makes me liable if any tickets are issued or if he crashes the car. Suggestions?

Sold it for 5K last Sunday. He bought it just so he could re-sell it, he was most likely a wholesaler. What a great deal!
