Re: Question/discussion/NOT A ARGUMENT!!

i would think that a stock b18 would be more reliable then a d16 with all those mods.imo and there are plenty of tegs around..

Re: Question/discussion/NOT A ARGUMENT!!

The d-series are the most reliable engines I've ever seen. I've heard of people going 400,000+ miles on them, running it with bairly any oil with no problems, and not to mention that video where they started putting water into the motor and it started right up every time. And I also know of 2 people with b-series motors that have blown them up a few times; one guy did it twice and the other has done it four times. but still it all depends on how you take care of it.

Re: Question/discussion/NOT A ARGUMENT!!

yeah i saw that video, that is fucking cool. i think one reason why b seriesw dont last long is just because they are abused. i mean you got your stock motor then you got a b series. which one are you gonna abuse more.

Re: Question/discussion/NOT A ARGUMENT!!

STOCK!! lol

but seriously, i cant argue with that. when you have more power, you're more likely to use it and abuse it.

know where we can all see the educational video? d series are phenominal engines for reliability. mine started up in -50 weather with no plug in, never fails on me.
